Champions League football returns this evening and we have some really cracking ties to sink our teeth into and I've focussed on matches from Glasgow, Barcelona, Athens and Lisbon as we look for some tasty winners from European footballs elite competition. Barcelona host Juventus in what is surely the tie of the round from the Nou Camp while Celtic host the Quatari family and their Parisien play thing as Neymar and co roll into town with most expecting a comfortable night for the French side, while in Italy, Roma host Atletico Madrid in what should be a tight affair from the Stadio Olimpico. Elsewhere, routine home wins should be the order of the day for Bayern and Real Madrid as they host Anderlect and Apoel respectively while Man United will hope for a similar outcome as they host Swiss champions and CL regulars, FC Basel. With odds of 1/12, 1/20 and 1/4, finding value in those fixtures, could be tough. Here then are my previews and best bets for our first night of Champions League football this season. #BOlieve Domestic football returns this weekend and we kick things off @bobreaksbookies with a lunch time cracker as Liverpool travel to Man City looking to maintain an impressive recent run of form over the Citizens. Elsewhere, I've covered 6 further fixtures from England and Germany as we look for another fine day of winners. #Bolieve It's day 2 of the World Cup qualifiers and a huge evening lies ahead for Scotland who travel to Lithuania knowing only a win will do in the race for qualification. Elsewhere in the group, Slovakia host Slovenia while England travel to Malta in what should be a routine win for Gareth Southgate's side. A Goals are a strong possibility with Denmark hosting Poland while world champions Germany's trip to Prague should produce some interesting fare with the world champions expected to pick up the points. Here then are my previews for Friday's fixtures. Come on Scotland! 6 days of World cup qualifiers lie ahead and we kick things off this evening with 9 games from the European sections with Paris hosting the tie of the day as an impressive France welcome a Netherlands team badly in need of a positive result with a second successive failure to qualify for a major championships now a serious possibility. Elsewhere in that section, Sweden travel to Bulgaria boasting an impressive record over their opponents and will be hopeful of collecting the 3 points that could well secure their path towards another World Cup although the Bulgarians have won 3 out of 3 at home in this qualifying campaign, including an impressive 2.0 win over the aforementioned Dutch. Comfortable home wins are certain for Belgium as they host whipping boys Gibraltar while similar outcomes can be expected in Switzerland with Andorra the visitors and in Portugal where an improving Faroes side should still succumb to the reigning European champions. Here then are today's previews with my main focus on those games in Bulgaria and in France. Football is finally back this weekend across Europe with a return to action for Serie A, Bundlesiiga and La Liga but with little in the way of form, we will be keeping our selections to a minimum in these early weeks as we look for early patterns and form to develop. The first month of the season will be spent assessing the form throughout the big leagues so in these early stages, I won't be be betting the farm but there are a couple of fixtures from the Bundesliga that catch my eye as we begin the season in the same manner with which we finished, searching and hopefully finding the goals. Here are my prediction and selections for today with small stakes advised. The Premier League makes its long awaited return this evening as Arsenal welcome Leicester to the Emirates in what should be an entertaining contest.
With the Bundesliga, La Liga and Serie A still a week short of their returns, we will be keeping our selections to a minimum this week and indeed in the coming weeks as we wait to see some early form develop. I am very much in favour of a patient approach at the start of the season with so many changes taking place over what has been a hectic summer across Europe. Here then are my quick previews for the best of the Premier League fixtures this weekend. What can I say about yesterday?
Well, apart from the fact I nailed it with 6 out of 7 winners and 3 correct scores, winning 115 euros with my 14/1 line, Scotland broke my heart, again, and while I won't bore you with my analysis yet, it really was an outstanding occassion at Hampden that lived up to my expectations, and my correct score prediction of 2.2. So, it's the last day of the season with our final round of qualifiers and I'm focussing on Ireland's game with Austria as well as Wales trip to Serbia. Here are my best bets for a Sunday hangover #BOlieve :( It was a fine Friday with my 3 best selections all winning at decent odds with my sweden vs france and latvia vs portugal previews providing 4 out of 4 winners with nothing shorter than 10/11 odds. As you can see, I have a 4-fold running that has every chance today and with that said, let's take a look at what I've got for today.
COME ON SCOTLAND!! LET'S DO IT! #BOLIEVE It's the final weekend of the season and what a match we have tomorrow with Scotland hosting England in a crucial fixture on the road to Russia as the Scots look to resurrect their campaign against the oldest of enemies. Before all that drama tomorrow, we have 9 fixtures tonight and I've picked out 4 of them for my best bets today with Sweden's home fixture with France likely to be the pick of the bunch with most of tonight;s fixtures looking somewhat one-sided. Saturday should produce a more competitive round of fixtures and I will do my best to post my best selections for those later today. Here then are Friday's best bets from across Europe. #BOlieve It's the last day of the season in Italy and that should mean plenty of goals with at least 5 of the fixtures on offer looking ripe for goals.
There isn't too much left to play for although I expect a fantastic finale for the King of Rome as the legend of Francesco Totti makes his final appearance for the home side while Crotone need to beat an out of sorts Lazio if they are to stand any chance of avoiding relegation. It could be an afternoon and evening full of goals with both the Premier League and Bundesliga delivering in their respective final round of matches with over 30 goals scored in both of the leagues last weekend. I'm banking on something similar in Italy today and I'm giving it a right good go with my own bets which I will post to twitter shortly. #BOlieve Historically, the last day of the season in Germany has produced open and entertaining games with 27 of the last 36 fixtures played on the last day over the last 4 years seeing BTTS and over 2.5 goals scored. That's a whopping 75% success ratio with with an average of 3.5 goals scored per fixture so with that in mind, I am hoping for plenty of goals in most of our fixtures from the Bundesliga today.
Here's what I've come up with for our last day in Germany. I didn't have time to do my previews this week due to being made redundant from my other line of work and dealing with all that entails and I'm pretty gutted that I didn't share the tips as I nailed all but one of the games i focused on for my own personal bets.
If I don't have time to do as much research as I would usually, I don't want to post tips and end up looking silly. I feel it is important to only post tips when I have done the necessary due dilligence and unfortunately I wasn't able to do that this week. Still, I landed 6 out of 7 on my BTTS tips from Germany and I will be focusing on the Bundesliga for next weekends final round of fixtures. But that's for another day. Today we have 3 games previewed and I'm still looking at further fixtures from Spain this evening but for now, here are the best bets for your Super Sunday The season is drawing to a close across Europe with just a few weeks remaining in each of our big leagues across the continent. Today's focus is the PL and Bundesliga and I've got a whopping 9 games covered and lots of suggested bets to make it another great Saturday @bobreaksbookies. #BOlieve It’s a mixed bag of a weekend with so much of the action split across the two days but I’ve picked out plenty of interesting selections as we continue to search for goals in what has been a tremendous month @bobreaksbookies.
I’m focussing on goals with so many of them seemingly around in recent weeks and having read the story of a 19 year old Scottish punter who landed 20 k betting on BTTS in both halves in 4 different games, I decided shall be having a go at that myself this weekend! So here then are Saturday’s previews with all of my usual key facts and best bets as well as 1 or speculative shots for your big accas. Have a great weekend #BOlieve Sadly I lost all my previews due to failing to save my file but I do remember all my selections without the key facts so here is my reduced but still studied Sunday Best Bets.
#BOlieve It's a huge weekend of action across Europe with FA Cup semi-finals as well as the Old Firm Derby and the biggest match of all as Real go face to face with Barcelona in El Clasico just some of the highlights. Here's what I've come up with for Saturday #BOlieve It's another big weekend but especially on Saturday and I've got 6 games covered from the PL in England as well as the Bundesliga in Germany. I've gone for a variety of different selections today and I may add one or two others if I have time to study the Serie A form as we have 10 games from Italy to consider as well with the Italians keeping the Easter Sunday holy and not playing any football. Nice for them but not so nice for @bobreaksbookies who doesn't enjoy a card as big as this. Too much choice and all that. So here are the previews and best bets for Saturday Happy Good Friday etc #BOlieve It was a great day for @bobreaksbookies with plenty of winners and correct scores and I'm feeling good about the action to come today.
Italy is the main focus today and as ever, we search for goals. Here are today's previews and best bets #BOlieve It has been a tremendous week of tipping @ bobreaksbookies and I’m hoping to keep the form going on what looks like a potentially tricky card this weekend. Werder Bremen got the weekend off to a decent start with their 2.2 draw at Frankfurt and that brought home my 17/20 tip on the visitors not to lose but having lead 2.0, they should have claimed the points at 3/1 odds. Still, this was an easy single to cover at half-time with Bremen leading 2.0 . Today, I am focussing on the Premier League and Bundesliga with most of my recent success coming from those two leagues and from now on I will assign a rating from between 1 and 5 stars for all of my bets with 5 stars representing maximum confidence, and 1 being the lowest. Here are Saturday’s (and Friday’s) previews, facts, and best bets! ****I've added a preview for the derby in Spain, Real vs Atletico #BOlieve It was a fine Saturday with 10 out of 13 winners posted including impressive late home wins (and score predictions from Hull and Koln and It’s another cracking day of action across Europe with some really interesting looking fixtures taking place, none more so than the Sky Super Sunday contest where Man City travel to London to tackle an out-of-sorts Arsenal. Elsewhere, there is a big clash in Italy as 3rd placed Napoli welcome Juventus to Naples while goals could be on the cards in Germany as Leverkusen welcome the Wolves of Wolfsburg to the Bay arena. Here now are the best my best bets for Sunday. Following a two week break, the domestic action returns this weekend and with Saturday coming on the 1st of April, we have a chance to make fools of those bloody bookies and take them to the proverbial cleaners with plenty of high quality fixtures to sink our teeth into over the next couple of days The best of the action kicks-off on Saturday lunch-time with the Merseyside Derb as an on-form Everton look to end their hoe-do over Liverpool as they travel to Anfield looking for a first win there THIS CENTURY. Elsewhere, Hull have a vital home clash with an out of sorts West Ham and another home win could give Marco Silva’s men every chance of escaping the drop while there should be goals on the South coast as Bournemouth travel to neighbours Southampton for what should prove to be a lively local derby. in Germany there is another big derby with Schalke hosting Dortmund in a fixture that usually delivers in the goal markets with the last 10 contests in Gelsenkirchen all seeing BTTS while old favourites Werder Bremen travel to Freiburg in a potentially open contest. Here then are my best bets and plenty of suggested tips for the best of Saturday’s action. It’s been a busy couple of weeks @bobreaksbookies with too much going on in my life and at work to give the football the necessary attention but I’m back with a small preview for the best of the International qualifiers this weekend. I only did 1 bet during the week and it was never really in doubt as all 3 games at Arsenal, Barcelona and Napoli finished with BTTS and over 2.5 goals to return 6 points of profit to make it a decent week overall @bobreaksbookies. I didn’t do previews for these matches although I did tweet the bet on Monday so no excuses to anyone who missed out. For this weekend’s best bets I am including 1 selection from Friday to kick things off as BTTS favourites Bremen take on Leverkusen at the Bay Arena and 3 more from Saturday with the Bundesliga the focus of my attention. Here are my best bets for Friday and Saturday with previews to follow for Sunday’s action. In sport, there is little to match the hype and hubris that surrounds the week of any big fight and this coming Saturday, two of the sport’s biggest protagonists come head-to-head as former Heavyweight champion David Haye finally takes on WBC Cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew in a non-title fight in the heavyweight division in what has become one of the sport’s biggest and perhaps unlikeliest grudge matches. In the past weeks and months, both fighters disdain for each other has manifested itself in a serious of heated exchanges where both have stepped over the line and in some cases, stormed right through it, barely stopping to admire their work as the verbal sparring (and in one instance, a physical altercation) has brought this fight to the attention of more than just your regular die-hard boxing fans. The hatred seems to be real, the animosity is quite obvious and nothing sells pay-per-view tickets faster than a fight where both men show a clearly and utter dislike for each other. |
