Here are my final picks for a busy Halloween Saturday and as stated last week, I am increasing the stakes for Saturday's and Sundays with 25 points reserved for weekend bets. It's another Saturday and under pressure Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will be hoping it doesn't turn into a Halloween horror show as the "Special One" takes on the "Normal One" with Chelsea vs Liverpool kicking things off in the live lunch-time kick-off on BT Sport. It's a rare Saturday with all of the big guns in action and I'm expecting some really good matches with Arsenal's trip to Swansea another tasty looking fixture. Here are my "Key Facts" and "Suggested Bets" for the best of Saturday's PL action. Here are my 5 picks from the Championship this afternoon with some good looking contests that should with a little luck, deliver some goals.
I've picked out three game from across Europe for my analysis this afternoon with one each from Holland, Spain and Italy as I continue my search for goals in Europe's top league. Roma's trip to Inter is the highlight of the evening although Juventus and Torino should run it close but I'm ignoring that derby in Italy while Villareal and Sevilla is a La Liga match-up that is likely to produce some goals and quality football. Here are my previews for my favourite matches in Europe on Saturday evening. There are 6 games in the Bundesliga this afternoon and I've picked out three of them for a closer inspection with goals, as ever, the theme of today's selections. Wolfsburg welcome Leverkusen in a fixture that almost always produces goals while Hoffenheim are always good for BTTS and that has every chance when they visit Koln and I'm also taking an interest in Hertha's home fixture with a revitalised Moenchengladbach who have won 5 in a row in the league. Here are my "Key Facts" for the best of the Bundesliga action. I've got 3 bets to try tonight and I've included 1 selection for tomorrow's Championship fixture between Brentford and QPR. I've gone for BTTS there and I will justify that selection in my next post. Here are Thursday's "Best Bets" Prices are taken from William Hlll. We have three fixtures tonight as well as couple more tomorrow and I'm looking to do some combination selections for the two days with a big MLS game at 11.00 pm of particular interest. Montreal Impact and Didier Drogba welcome Canadian rivals FC Toronto to Quebec and the beautiful city of Montreal for what is sure to be an exciting contest in the MLS play-offs as Drogba looks to continue his stunning form against Toronto and their star attacker, Sesbastian Giovninco but before that we have 1 fixture from Serie A and 1 from the Championship. Here's what I've come up with for the 3 fixtures tonight with "Best Bets" to follow shortly while I will be including some of my selections from that game in Montreal as part of tomorrow's "Best Bets". DC United brought home my 20/1 "Ambitious Acca" to save my bacon and leave me even on the day after all my other bets were very narrowly beaten on a day of near misses and frustrations. I was pretty pleased with my Sassuolo picked not to lose to Juve as they went one better and won 1.0 although a 1.1 draw would have meant a far greater return on the day with Juve's failure to score costing me my 15/1 goals acca. My first bet was beaten by 1 goal in Naples with Napoli winning only 2.0 to beat my over 2.5 goals bet while my 2nd double was only beaten by Verona's failure to score at home for only the 4th time in 28 fixtures as they lost 2.0 to Fiorentina who managed only their 3rd clean sheet in 27 away league fixtures. My Tasty Treble fell 2 goals short due to Verona and Palermo's failure to score while my nearest miss came in my "Goals Acca" with Juventus failure to score as Sassuolo costing me a fine 15/1 4 - fold with the other three selections of BTTS at Torino and Atalanta coming up trumps as well as BTTS and over 2.5 goals at DC. Finally I got some luck with DC bagging two goals to bring up that fine "Ambitious Acca" but only after they had missed a 75th minute penalty on a night where it looked like my luck was empty but thankfully a late 2nd from the home side there gave me my winner and left me even on the day and allowed me to go to sleep feeling a little better despite the failure of my 3 main bets earlier in the evening. My BTTS and win wasn't far off either with only a Palermo goal missing and Torino conceding at the death to deny me what would have been a huge winner at crazy odds. I'm going for goals with my selections tonight and I've got two "Deadly Doubles" to take on as well as a BTTS and over 2.5 goals trebles with all of my selections bar 1 coming from Italy with 8 fixtures on offer from Serie A as well as a late night play-off battle in the US as DC United welcome New England Revolution to Washington. There are cup games all over the UK and Europe tonight but with team-news uncertain, I'm sticking with a league that has served me well in recent months and I fancy we could get some goals in most of the matches on offer. Here are my final picks and "Best Bets" for tonight's action. I'm concentrating on 6 games from Serie A and 1 from the US of A for tonight's bets and I'm allocating just over 2 points to four of my more ambitious accas for this evening. Here's are my "Pocket Change Bets" with my "Best Bets" to follow shortly. Sunday was a good day for Bobreaksbookies with just under 7 points of profit achieved to leave me just 0.5 points in profit for October and with a couple of days remaining in the month there are plenty of opportunities to boost the profit before November comes. We have eight fixtures in Italy tonight and having analysed all of the fixtures, I feel there could be plenty of goals around in a league that used to be famed for it's defensive pragmatism but now produces plenty of excitement and goal-mouth action. I'm ignoring the cup football across Europe tonight with team-news and other factors making these competitions far too unpredictable for my liking and given what we have on offer on Italy, I'm happy to stick to that league tonight. There is a play-off fixture in the MLS tonight and I'll take a look at that in due course but for now, here are my "Key Facts" and "Suggested Bets" for Serie A. Saturday wasn't the best of days at Bobookie towers with 4 points lost on the bets and and 6 previews lost for today's action due to a malfunctioning computer so I have done my best to re-write most of what was lost for what is a busy and exciting looking card across Europe with the Manchester derby looking like the pick of the bunch. There's lots of interesting fixtures from across Europe and the UK this afternoon and I've picked out 9 of them for my analysis on a day where there are many tempting fixtures to choose from including Liverpool v Southampton, Fiorentina vs Roma and Moenchengladach vs Schalke, The MLS reaches it's conclusion tonight as well and I will try to take a look at some of those fixtures later on today while my "Best Bets" and "Pocket Change" posts will follow later on this morning, but for now here are my previews for the best of the action across the Uk and Europe this afternoon. Adios Tim, it was funny while it lasted. Perhaps you can cheer yourself up Mr Sherwood by having a go on Bo's "Best Bets" Here are today's final picks. I'm increasing my stakes on weekends and it's a good looking card today with 9 fixtures analysed in my Big Preview posted earlier today, and I have 3 "Best Bets" and the 4th installment of my "Bank Builder" to follow this post as well as 4 more ambitious trebles and accas to try here in my best of the rest selections. Bet365 are doing their free in-play offer again today for the Manchester derby so don't forget to take advantage of what is a great offer. Here are today's "Best of the Rest" selections I fucking hate technology. Computer just crashed and deleted all of my sticky notes which contained half of the previews for tomorrow's English and Italian football. Only about 4 hours work lost. Lovely. These Best Bets would have been out earlier but the last hour of computer bullshit has set me back and I am unlikely to re-write all of tomorrow's work so I may only post my bets tomorrow as I cannot be bothered to sit and re-write 20 key facts about bloody Vitesse v Ajax. Honeslty, what a lot of shit. Here are today's angry Best Bets I've got 5 "Pocket Change" bets to try today and as ever, each and every one of these picks have been analysed and stand up to my statistical analysis. If you want some more confidence, all of my previews contain the "Key Facts" behind these selections. I'm much more excited about Sunday's football both in Europe and the UK but we have a few good fixtures across Europe today and I've picked out five of them for my analysis. There are two fixtures from the Bundesliga, two in the Dutch Eredivisie and one from Serie A that have caught my attention with goals once again the sole focus. Here are my "Key Facts" and "Suggested Bets" - All of my "Best Bets" and "Pocket Change Bets" will be posted tomorrow morning. It's not the most enticing of Premier League and Championship cards today so I'm only looking at five fixtures from the two divisions and only one from the Championship where goals have been at a premium lately. Only 15 of the last 40 Championship fixtures have seen BTTS and only 1 of the fixtures on offer really appeals in this market so I'm giving most of the action a beeline. In the Premier League Chelsea's trip to West Ham has the potential to be a fine contest while BTTS kings Leicester welcome away day specialists Crystal Palace who have won 9 of their last 12 on the road. Here are my "Key Facts" and "Suggested Bets" for Saturday's action in England's top two divisions. I'm trying a BTTS Treble and a BTTS and win double with small stakes for tonight's action.
The PEC vs Utrecht match kicked off 18 minutes ago but I backed BTTS after 10 with the score 0.0 @8/11. PEC have now taken the lead so that price will have gone. Sorry for the lateness of this post but I did tweet the bet before the goal. Here are tonight's late bets and my apologies for not getting this out earlier but I have been working on the weekend previews. Wednesday was a bizarre and frustrating night for the most part with my best bet of the night one that I did not post as a tip. Yeah, I know. As you can see in the imagine to your left, I did 4 draws at 200/1 and cashed out with just moments remaining in the final fixture at Blackburn. Obviously I won't include these winnings in my final totals but it's pretty annoying considering I do the draws frequently in my pocket change selections. This time I staked 0.05 points (50p) and couldn't believe my luck to get £93 (9.3 points) back from such a small outlay. Beyond that it was a frustrating night as PSV missed an injury time penalty that would have brought home my 5/1 Tasty Treble while my two main doubles were broken by Wolves failure to score at home for only the third time in their last 22 home fixtures and the very disappointing 0.0 in Paris between PSG and Real. Once again I've been let down by the midweek inconsistencies that seem to dog the Championship and I really must reduce the stakes from now on. I have decided that I will be following a slightly more disciplined staking strategy with 25-28 points reserved for Saturday's and Sundays and a further 10-14 points reserved for the midweek fixtures. Time and time again I have proved to myself that my weekend's are when I win much more often than not ans from this day forward, I must focus more on the domestic weekend action. There's been a lot of talk lately about subscription services and I have a few different opinions on the matter. Firstly, I don't believe that I have yet build a big enough following to attempt to launch such a service but I had some ideas on what I would like to offer in the future, if such a possibility presents itself. 1 euro per week for 3-4 emails per week providing 2 gold tips on each day. These tips would have been given 2 hours minimum per tip in terms of anaylsis, key facts, history etc and if only 250 people would sign up, then i could take this passion of mine full-time which would surely increase my expertise and profitability. I would like to hear feedback on this. Would you pay 15 cents per day for a newsletter with 2000 words of analysis on 2 "gold tips"? Yes, just 1 euro per week or 3.99 per month to get the best of my work. The reality is that I put in about 5 hours a day on this site, doing it all for free, and all the studying and analysis of the fixtures is extremely repetitive. I do it because I want to get the best results possible but if I actually had clients relying on this service then it would be much easier to dedicating my time to providing the best possible tips. I think in recent months I've proven myself to be an extremely knowledgeable football, sporting and betting enthusiast and it is my dream to do this work with just enough money to pay my rent. Many have often suggested I would be better focusing my work in this regard and if there was any opportunity to do this it could work out well for everyone. Please send me your feedback on twitter or facebook. Let's make it happen, if you want the best tips for the rest of your life, then I need to be funded! Bo I'm trying two doubles for my "Best Bets" tonight and I'm going for the Wolves of Wolverhampton and Wolfsburg to score 2 or more as tonight's main double. Bizarrely, I'm watching The Soprano's as I write this, and Carmella Soprano said the word "Wolves" at exactly the same moment I typed the very same word! Coincidence? Yes. Good sign? Who knows! Well, here are the picks and let's get back to winning ways! I've got three more bets to try tonight and I'm going a little bolder with my BTTS and win selections.
#BOlieve I've picked out four of the eight ties on offer from the Champions League tonight with the big game of the night coming from Paris as PSG take on Real Madrid. Both Manchester teams are in action with Man City entertaining Sevilla and United travelling to Russia to take on CSKA. I've also looked at an interesting tie from Germany as Wolfsburg host PSV with both sides on 3 points from two game so far. Here's what I've come up with for the four games tonight. Arsenal pulled it off as tipped up @bobreaksbookies on a disappointing night where the only success was the continuation of my bank builder thanks to that late 2nd Arsenal goal. I don't think many of us would have backed The Gunners to keep a clean sheet but that they did to claim the win @3/1 odds. Sadly I tried a 3.2 win with my free £25 at bet365 at 28/1 odds. It was another poor midweek for goals in the Championship and I handed back 8 points to the bookies thanks to a real lack of BTTS in the division although the £132 returned thanks to Ozil in the Arsenal game came as a welcome relief. There were some good tips on the night, including BTTS at Leverkusen and Rotherham as well as my 3/1 tip of Arsenal to win but unfortunately it wasn't my night, although without that late Ozil goal, the "Bank Builder" would have been finished, but we move on to bet #5 with £132 generated from our initial £50 stake. I've previewed the three Championship fixtures on offer with a further preview to follow this afternoon for the Champions League and then finally I will post my "Best Bets" later in the afternoon. |
