Not too much to go on tonight but I always have confidence in the selections, otherwise there would be no bets.
One thing that intrigues me in the world of football betting, is the amount of people willing to bet on the most obscure football you can imagine when there is nothing better on offer. I'm only keen on betting on football that I have a good to strong knowledge of and that's why I will ignore some of the other friendlies on offer tonight and on day's like yesterday's you won't see me tipping up games from the Icelandic under 21 league or Singaporean domestic action, as some like to do. I've had a tremendous run and it might be pushing my luck to expect another winning day today but I like the games on offer, so let's see how we get on. Anyways, here are my best bets for today's fixtures. There are 12 friendly Internationals being playedn today as well as 1 final Euro 2016 qualifier as Belgium travel to Israel. It's hardly a night for big stakes and having finished March on such a high, it would be silly to risk much of my profit on this, the last day of the month. Still, there are some interesting contest amongst some less interesting fixtures and I have picked out 5 games to focus on tonight. Here are my short previews and suggested bets for the best of the action tonight. SUNDAY MARCH 29TH - RESULTS ROUND-UP - ANOTHER WINNING DAY FOR SCOTLAND AND BOBREAKSBOOKIES!29/3/2015
It was another winning day for bobreaksbookies as Ireland grabbed a late goal to bring up the BTTS that returned 6.3 points on my main bet of the day and as you can see from my tweet earlier today, having seen that Jordan Rhodes was only on the bench, I changed my bet to Steven Fletcher instead.
I did advise followers to check team-news and with Fletcher given the nod, it was an obvious change to make. A subsequent hat-trick for the Sunderland man ended his goal drought and coupled with a fine win for Northern Ireland over Finland brought up another deadly double for Bo. It was the perfect day for Scotland as they won easily enough by 6 goals to 1 and with Ireland and Poland sharing the points in Dublin as predicted, it leaves Scotland in a super position at the half way stage and had Ikechi Anya been able to score as well, it would have been an even better day for Bobookies. As it was, it was still a day of profit which is always the target and that's 3 days in a row that I've spanked the bookies. Indeed, 7 of the last 10 days have yielded profit and I am really on a fabulous run of form now. Here are my results for Sunday. It's the final day of Euro qualifying and while it can be tricky to find winners on days like these, I'm pretty confident in some of the bets highlighted and with profit assured for the month, I'm looking to finish in style with some big wins today. There is 1 tasty looking friendly in London today at the Emirates as Brazil take on Chile but I don't fancy betting on a friendly although I may tune in at 1600 CET where BTTS is possible. I'm throwing in a new bet in the Scotland game with my expectation being that it could be a tough first 45 minutes with most of the goals coming in the second period. Anyways, this is the last big day of the month and even if we win nothing today, it will be a profitable month, so I'm taking a chance with a few of my selections to see if we can finish on a big high. Here are my Best Bets for Sunday. It's a big Sunday for Scotland and I'm looking forward to celebrating some goals from our boys in blue as we put minnows Gibraltar to the sword. It's a tough day betting wise, but hopefully we can continue the fine form of the past 10 days which has seen me leap into big profit for March. Here are today's previews and suggested bets; It took a dramatic injury time equaliser for Holland to bring up my least confident bet of the day as my goals treble paid off at 8/1 although with the others 2 doubles disappointing, I was left with 2.8 points of profit which, although fortuitous, is fine by me.
I was spot on about Iceland and way off the mark about Israel while the Czechs also required a last minute goal to save a point at home to Latvia in a day where Holland, Italy and the Czechs were all held to surprising draws. Here are my results for Saturday on what has been a pretty fine weekend so far with Sunday's action to come, and the month drawing to a close, we can now say for sure that @bobreaksbookies will be ending the month in profit! You can't get better than perfect and that's exactly what we delivered yesterday as all 10 of my selections won to send me soaring into big profit for March. Given that I was out of town with my lady, I didn't even get to see the results until after midnight and I was obviously delighted to see all of my selections come up. Here again are last night's results and my overall scores for March. After lasts nights perfect peformance I am happy to do small stakes tonight as my study time has been limited and i am still out of town and enjoying some sun. With 14.5 points of profit last night, I don't need to go crazy today although I have studied the fixtures earlier in the week and have confidence in my picks. Here are my best bets for today; Saturday 28th March
Saturday's fixtures seem a little more competitive on paper with some interesting contests, most notably Wales vital trip to Israel, Holland's home tie with Turkey and a tricky away fixture for Italy in Bulgaria. Here are some previews and suggested bets with my final selections to come tomorrow. The Euro 2016 qualifiers resume on Friday evening with the fixtures for all the groups divided out over the course of 3 days and at a first glance the first batch of games don't look especially appealing. Spain's game with Ukraine could be interesting while Montenegro against Russia should be tasty but beyond that it's a bunch of odds on favourites and a clash between Macedonia and Belarus which hardly sets the pulse racing. I will be looking at the handicap and goal markets for these games with outright winners virtually unbackable at such short odds. I am out of town tonight with no access to football or betting (NOOOO!) so i won't be able to cover any bets so here's hoping what I've picked out comes home without too much trouble. Here are my best bet's for tonight and tomorrow's games with previews to follow for Sunday's action. It took a late Christophe Berrsa header to seal a hard earned win over Northern ireland and brought me a winner to leave me even for the night, when it look like it might be a disappointing evening for Bobreaksbookies.
Germany were held to a surprise 2.2 draw at home to Australia as their troubles continued and it took a late equaliser from Lukas Podolski to save their blushes. While this result denied me a winner, it is encouraging to see the Germans struggle, given their position in Scotland's group. A weekend away visit to Georgia does not seem quite so straight forward for the world champions. There was a 3.2 win for Denmark and the BTTS selection at 5/6 came in after 30 minutes to seal the first leg in my 3rd double and Berra's late winner secured the double with Scotland to win to nil @11/8. So, even steven for Bo tonight and that's ok on a night when we still didn't lose despite Germany letting everyone down with their failure to win. Here are my results for the night Bo's Deadly Double Total Staked - 3 Points Potential Returns - 8.1 Points Scotland to win @4/5 - Final Score 1.0 - WINNER Germany to win -1 @1/2 - Final score 2.2 - Lost Bo's Deadly Double Total Staked - 2 Points Potential Returns - 6.9 Points Scotland to score 2 or more goals @1/1 - lost Germany to score 3 or more goals @8/11 - lost Bo's Deadly Double Total Staked - 1.5 Points Potential Returns - 6.53 Points Scotland to win to nil @11/8 - WINNER Denmark v USA - BTTS @ 5/6 - WINNER Total Staked - 6.5 Points Total Returned - 6.53 Points Overall results totals Deadly double - 15 winners, 17 losers, 4 void - (profit of 27.8 points) Sexy single - 3 winners, 9 losers (loss of 17.75 points) Tasty treble - 2 winners, 13 losers - Loss of 4.25 points I'll post my previews for Friday's action tomorrow with 9 qualifers to look at, most of which involve some heavy odds on favourite so finding the value could be tricky. Bo's Best Bets Bo's Deadly Double Total Staked - 3 Points Potential Returns - 8.1 Points Scotland to win @4/5 Germany to win -1 @1/2 Bo's Deadly Double Total Staked - 2 Points Potential Returns - 6.9 Points Scotland to score 2 or more goals @1/1 Germany to score 3 or more goals @8/11 Bo's Deadly Double Total Staked - 1.5 Points Potential Returns - 6.5 Points Scotland to win to nil @11/8 Denmark v USA - BTTS @ 5/6 Total Staked - 6.5 Points Potential Returns - 21.5 Points It's a particularly quiet evening with only 3 friendlies in Europe to consider including Scotland's clash with Northern Ireland at Hampden Park.
I'm not a big fan of betting on friendlies so I will be keeping the stakes low before the weekend action. Here are my brief previews and best bets for Wednesday. With no domestic action in the top leagues across Europe this week, my focus turns instead to the European qualifiers this weekend and with Scotland in action, it's time to take a little trip down memory lane. Scotland have begun the current campaign in excellent fashion and now there a genuine possibility of Scotland qualifying for a major tournament for the first time in 18 years. A generation of Scotland fans have never seen their team on the biggest stage and my last memories of Scotland at a major event, were of course in France in 1998 as we opened the World Cup against champions Brazil only to lose 2.1 thanks to some fantastic Scottish luck at the hands of Tom Boyd. Ultimately we would depart the tournament with a solitary point having been spanked 3.0 by Morocco in our final group game and who would have imagined THAT would be our high point from the last 20 years. As a 15 year old boy, I never imagined all these years later we would still be waiting for a return to a major finals but here we are in 2015 having missed out on the last 4 World Cups and 4 European Championships. It's a quiet week ahead for bobreaksbookies with only 3 International friendlies to look at on Wednesday before we get some competitive action again with the resumption of the European Championship qualifiers on Friday.
Scotland are involved in one of those friendlies on Wednesday as they welcome Northern Ireland to Hampden park for a match that serves as a decent warm up for the visit of Gibraltar on Sunday. Manager Gordon Strachan will have had one eye on our trip to the Republic of Ireland in June when scheduling this friendly and the men from the North should represent a similar kind of challenge to that with which their neighbours will pose in our crucial qualifier with the Irish, albeit under friendly conditions. "It's going to be a cracking day of winners and goals, well at least I hope so and with the fixtures we have on offer today, I am optimistic that it is going to be a really super Sunday" I could have hardly have written my opening line to my Best Bets post earlier today with more authority or accuracy! What a day for Bobreaksbookies with all 6 of my top bets winning to give me 3 Deadly Double winners on the day returning 15.5 points of profit in total. Barcelona rounded off a fabulous day for bobreaksbookies as we surged into profit for March! A narrow 2.1 victory for Barcelona brought up my 3rd double of the day although I did sarcrifice 0.75 points of profit when the hosts went 2.1 up by covering the win or draw for Real. But the Catalans held on to the win, and in the end all 3 of my doubles were triumphant today returning 25 points from a 9.5 point stake. Back of the net! I was spot on with my 2.2 prediction in Holland in the draw between Groningen and Twente with BTTS coming in before half-time while 3 second half goals between Feyenoord and PSV brought up another 3 selections (BTTS, over 2.5 and Feyenoord to score 2 or more) It's going to be a cracking day of winners and goals, well at least I hope so and with the fixtures we have on offer today, I am optimistic that it is going to be a really super Sunday.
Here are the best bets for Sunday with my focus on goals for the most part. It's the biggest match in world football tonight as El Clasico returns for another installment and that usually means 1 thing... GOALS! BTTS is usually an absolute lock in this fixture but I'm putting my faith in a home win with the majestic Lionel Messi at the heart of it. I like the look of goals as Villareal and Sevilla meet for the 3rd time in 10 days. There are 6 fixtures from Italy kicking off in the evening to allow the sides who were competing in Europe this past week a little extra recovery time. Here are my previews for La Liga and Best Bets. It truly is a Super Sunday with 2 huge matches to look forward to amongst a host of matches from across Europe. Kicking us off at 1430 CET we have a critical clash in the race for a top 4 spot in the Premier League as Man Utd travel to on form Liverpool while the action concludes at 2100 with El Clasico from Barcelona as Real Madrid visit the Nou Camp. Here are my previews and best bets for all this afternoon's games. Bo's Deadly Double

I am confident in finding goals at Watford and Tottenham and I have a big expectation of an away win for Leeds who visit an awful Blackpool. I'm hoping that day will bring us back into profit after the excellent results of the last 2 days where I returned around 17 points in profit. Here are the best bets for Saturday's action. I've previewed my best bets from England today but there are many other fixtures that i have taken a quick look at and will throw out some predictions and suggested bets based more on my gut instinct than a serious analysis of all the stats.
A lot of punters feel over-analysis of the stats leads to their downfall but I have always felt the more I studied, the better I perform and for that reason, I am limiting my scope on Saturday's to a select group of games. Still, I do feel I can pick some winners without analysing in great detail and it could be interesting to see how I get on without doing the research. Here are all the remaining fixtures from the big leagues in England along with some selected games from around Europe's top leagues and I have highlighted some of my more confident selections. I spoke about my luck changing and it bounced straight back to misfortune as the bookies took back my winnings for what was, in fairness, a ghost goal from Scott Mcdonald.
Having credited my winnings, they took them back 3 hours later to leave me rather annoyed and perhaps regretting not immediately withdrawing the cash. I still don't understand how a goal can be credited to the correct player, then changed to another half way through the second half for absolutely no reason and somehow then get settled as a winner. I got on to customer service and talked my way into a refund of my 1.5 points plus a 1.5 point gesture of goodwill which all things considering, is not too bad. I still got my first double and ultimately made some money from a goal that never was. Here are my revised winnings. Saturday brings us a big card from across Europe but I am narrowing my selections and focussing on a select group of matches for my bets tomorrow. I have previews for the matches that will feature in my best bets and some predictions for the ones that won't, mainly because I want to spend my time on fewer matches as I always seem to win on the nights when I have fewer games to choose from. |
