The season is drawing to a close across Europe with just a few weeks remaining in each of our big leagues across the continent. Today's focus is the PL and Bundesliga and I've got a whopping 9 games covered and lots of suggested bets to make it another great Saturday @bobreaksbookies. #BOlieve 15:00 Bournemouth vs Stoke - Prediction 3.1
Best Bets – Bournemouth to win @21/20, King to score anytime @8/5 Bet confidence – 2 stars, 1.5 stars Key Facts
Low stakes here with little to play for either side for but the recent form suggests a home win is more likely than the odds against price suggests with Stoke really struggling on the road since the turn of the year. Stoke haven’t scored an away PL goal since the 3 they scored at Sunderland in early January and with Bournemouth looking like their old selves, I fancy Eddie Howe’s men to take the points here. On form striker Josh King can be backed to score again at big odds of 8/5 and with 11 in his last 12, that looks like too big a price that may well come down before kick-off. _______________________________________________________________________________________ 15:00 Burnley vs West Bromwich Albion – Prediction – 1.0 Best Bets - Burnley to win @6/5, Under 2.5 goals @4/7 Bet confidence – 1.5 stars,2 stars Key Facts
Final Verdict Home win. WBA are on the beach while Burnley are now picking their destination having won 2.0 at Palace last weekend to leave the Clarets almost safe from relegation. Burnley are in the better form and with a sterling home record to count on, they should be able to take care of a disinterested looking WBA side that have struggled badly since reaching that hallowed 40 point mark, a true hallmark of a Tony Pulis team. With both sides struggling for goals, this should be a low scoring affair despite recent history between these two sides and while I don't like the unders market, under 2.5 goals seems logical here @4/7 while I expect the home-side to just about edge it @6/5 odds. _______________________________________________________________________________________ 15:00 Leicester vs Watford – Prediction 2.0 Best Bets - Leicester to score 2 or more @ 4/6, Leicester to win @1/2, Vardy to score anytime @1/1 Bet Confidence – 2.5 stars, 3 stars, 1.5 Stars Key Facts
Final Verdict Leicester are in much the better form and given the dismal away record of Watford, a home win looks good @1/2 while I also expect the hosts to score at least 2 goals @4/6 odds as they continue their march up the table under the guidance of Craig Shakespeare. The hosts ground out a 1.0 win at WBA last weekend to ensure their survival and I expect them to continue the form here against a Watford side that have struggled badly on the road this season. _______________________________________________________________________________________ 17:30 Swansea vs Everton – Prediction 1.1 Best Bets – Swansea not to lose @11/20, BTTS @3/4, Draw @12/5 Bet Confidence – 3 stars, 2 stars, 1 star Key Facts
Final Verdict Swansea have just 3 games remaining in the battle to escape relegation and while they have struggled more recently, they do have a strong home record since the appointment of Paul Clement and I expect them to pick up at least a point here against an Everton side that have gone off the boil in their last two fixtures and perhaps have 1 eye on their summer holiday plans. Of course for the Swans, 3 points are the target and while I’m not convinced they will take them, I don’t expect them to lose with Everton rarely winning on their travels and the hosts having so much more to play for. 11/20 isn’t the biggest price in the world but when you consider that Everton have only won 13% of their away matches since September and that Swansea themselves have only lost 1 of their last 6 at home, a draw or better seems the most likely outcome for the hosts. _______________________________________________________________________________________ 14:30 Ingolstadt vs Bayer Leverkusen – Prediction 2.1 Best Bets – BTTS @8/13, BTTS and over 2.5 goals @1/1, Ingolstadt to win @8/5 Bet Confidence – 3 stars, 2 stars, 1 star Key Facts
Final Verdict Leverkusen are in such poor form that it’s pretty tempting to back the home win @8/5 but goals look the safest play here with both sides desperately poor at the back so BTTS @8/13 looks likely and I expect this one to go over with the home side running out of hope in their chase for survival and certain to go for the jugular here against a badly out of form Leverkusen who themselves could do with a win to ensure their survival in what has been a desperately disappointing season for a team that finished 4th last season. Ingolstadt have certainly improved in recent weeks and if recent home fixtures are anything to go by, we can expect an end to end encounter with both sides very likely to score. Only 1 clean-sheet in the last 14 months at home tells you that Leverkusen are likely to score and with the hosts also finding their shooting boots recently, I expect goals and a possible home win to drag Bayer ever closer to the relegation dog fight. The visitors have been about as predictable as a bag of snakes all season but they are currently in the midst of their poorest run of the campaign with a 4.1 thumping at home to Schalke representing their seasonal nadir and with confidence rock bottom, Leverkusen could well crash to another loss here. When you also consider that the visitors have only drawn 1 of their last 19 on the road, it seems likely that a winner will emerge from this fixture and with Ingolstadt playing with more freedom, I fancy they can edge to the victory in a fixture that must surely produce goals. _______________________________________________________________________________________ 14:30 Borussia Dortmund vs Hoffenheim – Prediction – 1.1 Best Bets – Hoffenheim or draw @9/5, Under 3.5 goals @1/1 Bet Confidence – 1.5 stars, Bet confidence – 2 stars Key Facts
Final Verdict Koln claimed a 0.0 draw at Dortmund last weekend to bring up a fine 10/3 bobreaksbookies tip (Koln not to lose) and I fancy a similar outcome here with 3rd placed Hoffenheim the visitors this weekend to Dortmund in what is a critical fixture in the battle for 3rd place and automatic Champions League qualification. Goals seem very likely but with BTTS priced only @2/5, there’s not much value to be had with that selection so I will be going with the visitors not to lose as they look to continue their fine recent form both in the league and in matches against Dortmund. Indeed, Hoffenheim have only lost 3 of their 31 league fixtures this season and while this is undoubtedly one of their stiffest challenges to date, they have proven to be a tough side to beat and with 4 points from 6 collected over champions Bayern, this is a team that obviously fears no-one. With only 1 point between these two sides in the table, both will be fired up for what should be a very competitive fixture between two strong outfits and if this match lives up to previous contests, we should be in for a cracker with goals certainly expected by the bookies with this one just 3/10 to go over 2.5 goals but with so much at stake, I don’t expect this fixture to be the goal-fest the bookies are quite anticipating. Indeed this fixture is odds on 8/11 to see over 3.5 match goals and you have to wonder why when you consider that Hoffenheim have only seen over 3.5 match goals in 2 of their 15 away league fixtures this season. I don’t like going against goals, but surely under 3.5 goals @1/1 represents some excellent value with Dortmund themselves only seeing over 3.5 goals scored in just 5 of their 15 home league fixtures. While 8 of the last 11 meetings between these sides have seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals scored, none of the previous fixtures held this much importance, especially for the visitors and I expect a fairly tight match that could follow the form and finish in yet another draw with each of their last 5 contests resulting in that outcome. I’m going for a 1.1 draw so 9/5 on the visitors not to lose is my best pick here with under 3.5 goals @1/1 surely having a good chance considering the importance of the fixture and the resilience of the visitors who will put everything into getting another positive result against their more illustrious opponents. _______________________________________________________________________________________ 17:30 Barcelona vs Villarreal – Prediction 3.2 Best Bets – BTTS @3/4, BTTS and over 2.5 goals @5/6, Barca to win and BTTS @11/10 Bet Confidence – 3 stars, 2.5 stars, 1.5 stars Key Facts
Final Verdict Historically this is usually an entertaining fixture and with the visitors in good form, I’m backing them to score and make a real contest of this with Barcelona still likely to edge to a narrow win in what could be a very entertaining contest from the Nou Camp. _______________________________________________________________________________________ 17.45 Thun vs Luzern – Prediction 2.2 Best Bets - BTTS @1/2, BTT and over 2.5 goals @8/11 Bet Confidence – 4 stars, 3 stars Key Facts
Final Verdict BTTS looks nailed on @1/2 odds and I’ll be taking the double with over 2.5 goals as well with both sides scoring and conceding at a very consistent rate during the season. Luzern are the stronger side but hardly in the best of form and struggling for wins on the road and with Thun seeing 42 goals (20 scored, 22 conceded) in their last 9 home league fixtures, it seems logical to assume that a high scoring draw could be on the cards here. The price on BTTS is short but with both sides averaging above 80% success rate in the BTTS market it seems a likely outcome. ______________________________________________________________________________________ 19:45 Juventus vs Torino – Prediction 2.1 Best Bets –BTTS and over 2.5 goals @4/5 Bet Confidence – 1.5 stars Key Facts
Final Verdict With Serie A all but sewn up and a crucial 2nd leg with Monaco to come on Wednesday, Juventus may make some changes and with that in mind, I expect their performance level to drop a touch with one eye on a Champions League final so I I fancy the visitors to make a game of it and with that, there could be goals, with free-scoring Torino a particularly favourite @bobreaksbookies with their form in that market very consistent this season. _______________________________________________________________________________________ Saturday Best Bets Leicester vs Watford - Leicester to score 2 or more @4/6 Leicester vs Waford - Leicester to win @1/2 Swansea vs Everton - Swansea not to lose @11/20 Swansea vs Everton - BTTS @3/4 Dortmund vs Hoffenheim – Under 3.5 goals @1/1 Barcelona vs Villarreal – BTTS @3/4 Barcelona vs Villarreal - BTTS and over 2.5 goals @5/6 Juventus vs Torino – BTTS and over 2.5 goals @4/5 Thun vs Luzern - BTTS @1/2 Burnley vs WBA – Under 2.5 goals scored @4/7 Thun vs Luzern - BTTS and over 2.5 goals @8/11 Ingolstadt vs Bayer Leverkusen - BTTS @8/13 Ingolstadt vs Bayer Leverkusen -BTTS and over 2.5 goals @1/1 WDW Burnley vs WBA – Burnley to beat WBA @6/5 Leicester vs Watford – Leicester to win @1/2 Bournemouth vs Stoke – Bournemouth to win @21/20 Dortmund vs Hoffenheim – Hoffenheim or draw @8/5 Ingolstadt vs Bayer Leverkusen -Ingolstadt to win @8/5 BTTS and Win Barca to win and BTTS @11/10 Anytime goalscorers Josh King @8/5 Jamie Vardy @21/20 Comments are closed.
