THE BETTING HISTORY OF THE MAN BEHIND BOBREAKS THE BOOKIES
@bobreaksthebookiess is a one man operation. All the studying, stastical analysis, blog design and writing is done by me, the creator, Bo. The world's number 1 tipster. Self titled.
I have been betting since I was 17 and my story of my first bet is so tragic, that perhaps it should have put me off this game in that very first instance butI was young, brash, full of confidence that I could pick the winners of football games. It was as simple as that and as I brass necked it and entered my first bookies, underage, I thought I would go for an accumulator. 12 teams no less.
Now this was no ordinary acca. As anyone will tell you, 12 winners is an aburd amount to place on any bet but at odds of 90/1, and a stake of ten pounds, I stood to win £900 should it come off. Yes, I must have been more confident in those days! and certainly more optimistic.
But still, with 12 teams at those odds, it would certainly have contained a few favourites. The acca began at the beginning of the week and by the time I entered the Saturday, I was 6 down, 5 to come on the Saturday and Celtic at home to Kilmarnock on the Sunday. Would it be the Bhoys who would break my heart at the tender age of 17???
Sadly not, for on the Saturday I nailed down 4 out of 5 with only Rangers letting me down by failing to win at an awful Aberdeen managed by the legendy Ebbe Skovdahl. Ha. Rangers with Advocaat in charge had a faboulous team and Aberdeen were seasoned whipping boys as this stime, having been hammered 7.0 by Celtic I recall and other handsome beatdowns from both sides of the old firm.. But not on this day. Sadly it was my own team who broke the acca. On the Sunday Celtic duly delivered and it would be Rangers who would deny me my first ever bet. I remember kicking my radio at full time in Aberdeen and praying that Celtic would somehow collapse as well. Not to be and from that moment, I vowed to smash the bookies.
A long the way there have been some amazing winners, including my finest hour, the 2002 Champions league final at Hampden when the legend of Zidane scored one of the finest goals ever seen in a final Zidane's winner sealed my correct score of 2.1, my scorecast of raul 2.1 and my first goalscorer of raul was already nailed down. 250 pounds later and it was a final I would never forget.
2 months later, my 20/1 longshot of Ronaldo to win the goldenboot at the world cup landed when the great man scored 8 to claim the spoils. I backed the man when he had not kicked a ball for over a year and the talk was that he was finished. Another faourite was the amazing Rivaldo hat-trick,against Valencia, wrapped up in the last minute with a bicycle kick so stunning, so extraordinary, that it still gives me goosebumps. It sealed my 25/1 correct score prediction of 3.2 in a fashion I have yet to see repeated. And I was going on holiday the next day!
But of course there have been painful lessons learned on each and every week but it's all part of the thrill, because afterall you cannot win if you never lose. Although when put my biggest ever bet on Tiger Woods to win the Open and he shot a 3rd round 82, you might have had some trouble convincing me that losers were all part of the fun.
And so here we are now, 15 years more experience in the game, alligned with a football and sporting obsession since I was old enough to remember. I am passionate about most sport, especially football and believe that my knowledge coupled with disicpline and gut instinct makes me one of the best tipsters around. But I'm new to this side of the game. Proving it. Talk is cheap and I aim to deliver on a consistent basis but of course it should be remembered that I have to work a real job sadly, and that this is for the moment, a one man operation.
I believe that with discipline, effective studying and accurate analysis I can provide far more winners than losers and it really is up to you as to how much you are going to put your faith in me. My gut instincts are rarely wrong and when you marry this with effective statistical analysis, I believe you have a winning combination. There are no get rich quick schemes at bobreaksthebookies but rest assured I will be working every day on finding those winners that you didn't have the time or knowledge to pick for yourself.
So come and follow bobreaksthebookies. Find me on twitter and enjoy my nonsense chat coupled with some of the finest tips you can find.

One final point, i am aware that my grammar at times is very poor however I do not have an editor and I write my previews very quickly with only a brief read over once written. All my time and focus goes into picking the winners but I do hope that at the very least, it is not too painful a read and that you can appreciate my attention must rest with the analysis and less on the quality of the writing.
