It's a huge weekend of action across Europe with FA Cup semi-finals as well as the Old Firm Derby and the biggest match of all as Real go face to face with Barcelona in El Clasico just some of the highlights. Here's what I've come up with for Saturday #BOlieve 15:00 West Ham vs Everton - Prediction 1.2
Best Bets –BTTS and over 2.5 goals @1/1. Everton to score 2 or more @10/11 Bet Confidence – 2.5 stars, 2 stars Key Facts
Final Verdict On-form Everton will be confident of claiming the 3 points here against a West Ham side that have struggled for form lately but goals look the best option here in a fixture that rarely disappoints with BTTS occurring in 83% of their PL meetings over the last decade. Everton are in such great form, especially at home and while they have not been able to win any of their last 5 on the road, West Ham looks like a good opportunity to set that right and I’m backing the Toffees to claim the spoils by scoring at least 2 goals against a Hammers side that have struggled at home when the leagues best teams come to town. BTTS and over 2.5 goals @1/1 is my best pick here and I also like the chances of Everton to score 2 or more @10/11. Best Bets –BTTS and over 2.5 goals @1/1. Everton to score 2 or more @10/11 ______________________________________________________________________________________ 17:15 Chelsea vs Tottenham – Prediction – 1.2 Best Bets – BTTS @4/5, Spurs to qualify @5/6 Bet Confidence – 2 stars, 2.5 stars Key Facts
Final Verdict England’s current top two sides face-off here with a place in the FA cup final awaiting the winner and what a game we should have in store with Spurs in particular, in tremendous form. While Chelsea still hold a 4 point lead at the top of the PL, their form has certainly taken something of a dip in recent weeks with defeats at home to Palace and then at Man Utd giving added weight to the theory that Chelsea are starting to look somewhat fatigued as they attempt to crawl over the finishing line in the league and I fancy that Spurs will have too much for them here with the North-Londoners in the form of their lives as they come into this one. It might take extra time but I fancy Spurs here so I’ll take them to qualify @5/6 as well as BTTS @4/6 in what is sure to be hotly contested and firey derby. Best Bets – BTTS @4/5, Spurs to qualify @5/6 _____________________________________________________________ 14:30 Hamburger SV vs Darmstadt – Prediction 3.0 Best Bets – Hamburg to score 2 or more @1/2, Hamburg -1 to win 1/1 Bet Confidence – 3 stars, 2 stars Key Facts
Final Verdict A resurgent Hamburg should have little problem in taking care of the visiting Darmstadt who have failed to collect even a single point from 14 previous away games this season and a home win looks as solid a selection as you can make this weekend with Hamburg @2/5 to claim all 3 points in front of their own support. Hamburg had started the season in terrible form with no wins from any of their first 12 league fixtures and with only 4 points as they entered December, relegation seemed a virtual certainty for one of Germanys proudest clubs but since then, Hamburg have completely turned it around with 9 wins coming from their next 17 with their home form particularly impressive, as evidenced in the stats above. When you also factor in the terrible form of the visitors, it all points to a comfortable home win so I’m taking Hamburg to score 2 or more @1/2, and to win with a goal or more to spare @1/1. Best Bets – Hamburg to score 2 or more @1/2, Hamburg -1 to win 1/1 _______________________________________________________________________________________ 17:30 Osasuna vs Sporting Gijon – Prediction 1.2 Best Bets – BTTS @8/13 Bet Confidence – 2 stars Key Facts
Final Verdict Goals are entirely possible here with both sides quite good in the market and while Osasuna are as good as relegated, Sporting still have a chance to survive with only 5 points between them and safety and for that reason I expect the visitors to really go for the win here against rock bottom Osasuna who themselves sit 10 points adrift of safety. Still, the hosts finally recorded their first home win of the season last weekend and that lift in confidence should be enough to make this a close and well-fought contest and given their recent home record in the BTTS market, I expect that run to continue against a Sporting side that will need to be adventurous if they are going to survive relegation with just 6 fixtures remaining to reduce that 5 point deficit to 17th placed Leganes. I don’t expect a flood of goals nor can I pick a winner here but BTTS looks good @8/13. Best Bets – BTTS @8/13 _____________________________________________________________ 19:45 Fiorentina vs Inter – Prediction – 2.1 Best Bets –BTTS and over 2.5 goals @5/6 Bet Confidence – 2 stars Key Facts
Final Verdict This fixture has proved to be terrifically entertaining in recent seasons and I expect the pattern to continue here with both sides in decent goal-scoring form. Inter have failed to win their last 4 and I don’t expect that to change here but they should have enough to breach a Fiorentina defence that has kept only 3 clean-sheets in their last 12 home league fixtures. Inter look the slightly stronger but home advantage should prove significant for the hosts and I expect them to edge to victory in a fixture that has provided plenty of goals in recent meetings with 14 goals scored in their last 3 meetings alone. Best Bets –BTTS and over 2.5 goals @5/6 ______________________________________________________________________________________ 17:30 Borussia M.Gladbach vs Borussia Dortmund - Prediction 2.2 Best Bets – BTTS and over 2.5 goals @4/5 Bet Confidence – 2.5 stars Key Facts
Final Verdict Goals seem ever so likely here with both the current form and past meetings suggesting this should be an entertaining contest with visiting Dortmund so leaky on the road and so reliable in the BTTS and over 2.5 goals markets this season. Dortmund have had it tough lately with their team bus attacked prior to their home defeat to Monaco last week and following their CL elimination at Monaco on Wednesday, they are sure to be a touch leggy and psychologically drained coming into this one and I wouldn’t be surprised to see the hosts score an early goal against a Dortmund side that have seemingly forgotten about away clean sheets with only 2 in their last 20 on the road in the Bundesliga and while BTTS is very short @1/2, I do expect more than a couple of goals so I will be trying BTTS and overs @4/5 odds as well. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the home side claim the points here but I’ll stick with my goals selection here as my only selection from a fixture that looks quite unpredictable given both sides recent up and down form. Best Bets – BTTS and over 2.5 goals @4/5 _______________________________________________________________________________________ 14:30 Ingolstadt vs Werder Bremen – Prediction – 1.2 Best Bets - BTTS and over 2.5 goals @21/20, werder to win @5/2 Key Facts
Final Verdict Goals are always likely when Werder Bremen come to town and quite simply they are overpriced here both in the win market (5/2) and to score 2 or more @6/4. Best Bets! West Ham vs Everton – BTTS and over 2.5 goals @1/1 West Ham vs Everton – Everton to score 2 or more @10/11 Chelsea vs Tottenham –BTTS @4/5 Chelsea vs Tottenham - Spurs to qualify @5/6 Hamburger SV vs Darmstadt – Hamburg to score 2 or more @1/2 Hamburger SV vs Darmstadt – Hamburg -1 to win @1/1 Osasuna vs Sporting Gijon – BTTS @8/13 Fiorentina vs Inter – BTTS and over 2.5 goals @5/6 Borussia M.Gladbach vs Borussia Dortmund – BTTS and over 2.5 goals @4/5 Ingolstadt vs Werder Bremen – BTTS and over 2.5 goals @21/20 Ingolstadt vs Werder Bremen – Werder to score 2 or more @6/4 Comments are closed.
