It's not the most enticing of Premier League and Championship cards today so I'm only looking at five fixtures from the two divisions and only one from the Championship where goals have been at a premium lately. Only 15 of the last 40 Championship fixtures have seen BTTS and only 1 of the fixtures on offer really appeals in this market so I'm giving most of the action a beeline. In the Premier League Chelsea's trip to West Ham has the potential to be a fine contest while BTTS kings Leicester welcome away day specialists Crystal Palace who have won 9 of their last 12 on the road. Here are my "Key Facts" and "Suggested Bets" for Saturday's action in England's top two divisions. Premier League 15:00 West Ham vs Chelsea - Prediction - 2.2 - BTTS @8/13, West Ham to score 2 or more @7/4 Bo's Key Facts * West Ham have seen BTTS in each of their last 5 fixtures * West Ham have seen BTTS in 5 of their last 6 home fixtures and in 4 of their last 5 at home in the PL * West Ham have scored 2 goals or more in 7 out of 9 league fixtures this season * The Hammers have scored 21 goals in those 9 fixtures, finding the net at least once in every fixture * West Ham have kept only 3 clean sheets in their last 11 home PL fixtures * Chelsea have seen BTTS in 4 of their last 6 away PL fixtures * Chelsea have conceded 2 or more in each of their last 5 away PL fixtures * Chelsea have kept only 2 clean sheets in their last 12 PL fixtures since April * Chelsea got an important point in Kiev on Tuesday in the Champions League with a 0.0 against Dynamo * West Ham have not scored in any of their last 5 meetings with Chelsea. Today represents their best chance to change that unwanted record * Chelsea have lost only 1 of their last 19 contests with West Ham Final Verdict - Goals likely in this London derby West Ham have a rotten record against Chelsea but they will surely have had fewer better opportunities than this in recent years to record a victory over an old rival that is long overdue with only 1 win in 11 years over Chelsea. The Hammers are in fine form while Chelsea have yet to show any real sign of serious improvement and this could be another struggle for the champions who are not keeping clean sheets this season and with West Ham second top scorers in the division, I fancy they could score at least once here so I'm going with BTTS as my main selection while West Ham to score 2 or more @7/4 certainly tempts. Chelsea had a tough game in Kiev on Wednesday and this won't be easy against a side that have achieved some tremendous results this season and you just wonder if Jose will try to get his team to be the counter attacking side in this one. Could it end up a stand off? I don't think so. The home side will look to get forward quickly and it won't be a "park the bus" type job from West Ham who are a team full of confidence right now and they will believe in their ability to hurt Chelsea with the likes of Payet and Lanzini in tremendous form and given Chelsea's need for points, you would expect the Blues to be full of intent in what should be a full throttle game of football. I expect a fast paced and exciting game here although if this one does stay 0.0 for a while, it wouldn't shock me if it ended up that way but I hope and have an expectation for an early goal and that should set us on our way for BTTS @8/13 in a contest that could end up even come the final whistle. 15:00 Stoke vs Watford - Prediction - 1.2 - Suggested Bets - Watford to score @8/15, BTTS @1/1 Key Facts * Watford have scored 2 or more in 11 of their last 13 away league fixtures (9 of those 11 in the Championship) * Watford have scored in 16 of their last 19 away league fixtures including 3 out of 4 away fixtures this season * Stoke have seen BTTS in 6 of their last 9 home league fixtures * Stoke have kept only 1 clean sheet in their last 9 home league fixtures and just 4 in their last 20 home PL fixtures in the last year * Watford have only lost 3 of 9 PL fixtures since their promotion to the PL with Arsenal, Man City and Palace the only sides to beat them so far * These two sides are separated by just 2 points in the table * Watford have much preferred playing away from home with only 1 loss in 4 so far this season Bo's Final Verdict I just have a feeling that Watford can come away with a positive result here so I'm backing them to score @8/15 and BTTS @1/1 in a fixture that could go either way. Watford are big @11/4 to win and I have a feeling they could it against a Stoke side that sometimes struggle against the lesser team in the division. The Hornets like to play a fast counter attacking style and they have done their best work on the road so far this season. I fancy them to get something here in a decent contest while BTTS looks overpriced at 1/1 and I'll be on that as well as Watford to score anytime @8/15. ________________________________________________________________________________________ 15:00 Leicester vs Crystal Palace - Prediction 2.3 - BTTS @8/13, Palace to score 2 or more @6/4, BTTS and over 2.5 goals @1/1 Bo's Key Facts * Leicester have seen BTTS in each of their last 12 fixtures and their last 10 PL fixtures * Leicester have conceded 2 or more in 5 out of 9 PL fixtures this season including 4 of their last 5 * Leicester have conceded 17 goals in 9 PL fixtures so far this season * Leicester have scored in 20 of their last 21 fixtures in all competitions since March * Jamie Vardy is looking to become only the eighth player to score in 7 successive PL fixtures, potentially joining an elite club containing the likes of Alan Shearer, Thierry Henry and um, Mark Stein. * Leicester have lost only 2 of their last 18 PL fixtures * Leicester have won 7 of their last 10 at home in the PL * Leicester have scored in 18 of their last 19 PL fixtures * Leicester have conceded 10 goals in 4 home PL fixtures this season * Leicester have seen over 2.5 goals in 6 of their last 8 Home PL fixtures * Palace have won 9 of their last 12 away PL fixtures * Palace lost the other 3 fixtures all by a 1.0 scoreline at Chelsea, Spurs and Southampton * Palace have only lost 5 in their last 19 away PL fixtures with Man Utd and Man City the only other teams they have lost on the road to in the last year * Palace won 1.0 at Leicester in last year's reverse fixture. * Since that loss, Leicester have lost just 2 at home from 12 fixtures Bo's Final Verdict - Leicester = thrills and spills Goals have to be on the cards again here with Leicester in great form and conceding goals in every match and Palace brilliant on the road with 9 wins from their last 12. I have a feeling the visitors can get the 3 points and I fancy them to score 2 or more @6/4 while BTTS @8/13 looks pretty likely considering current form while the BTTS and over 2.5 combo is another bet i like here @1/1. I expect a winner here and it could just be the visitors who are in excellent form, especially on their travels. ________________________________________________________________________________________ 15:00 Norwich vs West Bromwich Albion - Prediction 2.1 - Suggested Bets - BTTS @5/6 Bo's Key Facts * Norwich have seen BTTS in 8 of their last 9 league fixtures and in 10 of their last 11 fixtures in all comps * 6 of Norwich's last 7 home fixtures have seen BTTS * Norwich have scored 12 goals in their last 6 fixtures * 7 of Norwich's 9 PL fixtures have seen BTTS * 13 of Norwich's last 16 competitive fixtures have seen BTTS * WBA have scored in 6 of their last 8 away league fixtures * Only 2 of WBA's 9 PL fixtures this season have seen BTTS Bo's Final Verdict While WBA aren't prolific in the BTTS market, this is a fixture that should be close and given Norwich's inability to keep a clean sheet, this is a fixture I fancy could produce my favourite outcome @ 5/6 Norwich have seen so many fixtures finish with BTTS lately and the odds of 5/6 are good value for a team who have seen this outcome in 10 of their last 11 and while WBA aren't prolific in the market themselves, I do feel they are likely to score and so I'm taking the 5/6 on BTTS. ________________________________________________________________________________________ Championship 13:30 Fulham vs Reading - Prediction -1.1 - Suggested Bets - BTTS @8/11 Bo's Key Facts * Fulham have seen BTTS in 8 of their last 10 home fixtures * Reading have seen BTTS in 10 of their last 12 away league fixtures including 5 of their last 6 * The last 4 meetings in the last 2 years between these two sides have produced 16 goals, BTTS and over 2.5 goals in 3 out of 4 and over 2.5 goals in all 4. * Fulham won last season's corresponding fixture 2.1 * Fulham have kept only 2 clean sheets in their last 18 home fixtures * However Fulham have scored in 15 of their last 17 home league fixtures * Reading have only lost 1 of their last 11 Championship fixtures with 6 wins in their last 8 * Reading have won 6 of their last 8 Championship fixtures and have lost only 1 of their last 10 in the league * Reading have seen BTTS in 9 of their last 11 away Championship fixtures * 6 of those 9 fixtures also went over 2.5 goals Bo's Final Verdict - BTTS has a good chance here Only 15 of the last 40 Championship fixtures in October have seen BTTS so far that reason I've only got one pick from the division today and this looks like the best chance for BTTS with both sides in good form in the market especially when Fulham are at home and Reading are on the road. The visitors are in better form but Fulham usually raise their game for the bigger matches in the division and they are starting to show signs of improvement this season and I think they will be good enough to get a point here with BTTS @8/11. UK Suggested Bets West Ham vs Chelsea - BTTS @8/13 Leicester vs Crystal Palace - BTTS @8/13 Fulham vs Reading - BTTS @8/11 Stoke vs Watford - Watford to score @8/15 Stoke vs Watford - BTTS @1/1 Norwich vs West Bromwich Albion - BTTS @5/6 Leicester vs Crystal Palace - BTTS and over 2.5 goals @1/1 Leicester vs Crystal Palace - Palace to score 2 or more @6/4 West Ham vs Chelsea - West Ham to score 2 or more @7/4
