I've only picked out 3 of the 8 games on offer from the Championship this evening although there are at least two more games where I do fancy goals but I'm not gonna push my luck and hope that I can deliver on the three previewed in detail here. One of my real pet hates in betting is when I analyse a fixture and then decide, maybe for 1 reason only to leave it out and it duly delivers on the goals front. QPR and Birmingham was one such fixture this last weekend as well as Genoa vs Chievo where I had studied both games and picked BTTS in both but this is betting, and you can't pick them all. Well, that's what they tell me! Anyways, here are my previews from the Championship this evening with Key Facts and Suggested Bets. England - Championship
19:45 Huddersfield vs MK Dons - Prediction - 1.1 - Suggested Bets - BTTS @8/11, Draw @ 13/5 Key Facts * Huddersfield have seen BTTS in 7 of their last 8 home Championship fixtures including 4 out of 5 this season * Huddersfield have won only 2 of their last 15 Championship fixtures * Huddersfield have kept only 2 clean sheets in their last 19 home Championship fixtures * Huddersfield have drawn 5 of their last 7 home Championship fixtures. MK Dons have drawn 2 of their last 4 on the road * MK Dons have seen BTTS in 3 out of 5 away Championship fixtures including the last 2 * The Dons thumped Blackburn 3.0 in their last outing in the Championship on Saturday * MK Dons have just 1 clean sheet in 5 on the road this season and 3 in 11 since their promotion to the Championship * 5 of the last 6 meetings between these 2 sides since 2010 have seen BTTS while 11 out of 14 since 2004 have also followed the BTTS pattern Final Verdict - Score draw likely here Considering both teams defensive records, and their history in recent meetings, this one looks a good shout for BTTS @8/11 and I fancy this could finish even with the draw @13/5. ________________________________________________________________________________________ 19:45 Queens Park Rangers vs Sheffield Wednesday - Prediction 2.2 - Suggested Bets - BTTS @8/11, BTTS and over 2.5 goals @6/5 Key Facts * QPR have seen BTTS in 8 out of 11 Championship fixtures this season and in all 5 home fixtures * 4 of those home games went over 3.5 goals and all 5 over 2.5 * QPR have scored 13 in their last 5 home league fixtures but they have also conceded 11 * QPR have won only 1 of their last 6 league fixtures * 2 of QPR's last 5 home fixtures have finished in 2.2 draws * Shed Wed have seen BTTS in 9 out of 11 Championship fixtures this season and in 4 out of 5 away league fixtures * 5 of Shed Wed's last 7 Championship fixtures have seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals * Shef Wed are unbeaten in their last 5 Championship fixtures * Shef Wed have won only 1 of their last 8 away Championship fixtures * Sheffield Wednesday have scored in 10 of their last 11 meetings with QPR, including each of the last seven * Shef Wed have kept just one clean sheet in their last 10 away games (W2 D4 L4). Team News * QPR's Charlie Austin, and Jamie Mackie are both missing through injury * Sheffield Wednesday forward Marco Matias is doubtful while on-loan midfielder Alex Lopez is definitely out. Final Verdict - Goals on the cards here I fancy the goals markets here while a draw is also a possibility with QPR struggling for form and Sheffield Wednesday not winning too many on the road. ________________________________________________________________________________________ 19:45 Rotherham vs Reading - Prediction -1.3 - Suggested Bets -BTTS @5/6, BTTS and over 2.5 goals @6/4, Reading to win @ 1/1 Key Facts * Rotherham have seen BTTS in 7 of their last 8 Championship fixtures * 6 of Rotherham's last 8 Championship fixtures have seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals * Rotherham have seen BTTS in 6 of their last 7 home Championship fixtures and in 11 from 13 since February * 10 of those 11 fixtures also went over 2.5 goals * Rotherham have lost 3 of their last 5 home Championship fixtures and 6 of their last 11 at home since March * Rotherham have won 2 of their last 4 Championship fixtures but have only 4 wins from 21 since March * Reading have won their last 4 away fixtures and 4 of their last 6 on the road in the Championship * Reading have won 6 of their last 7 Championship fixtures and have lost only 1 of their last 10 in the league * Reading have seen BTTS in 9 of their last 11 away Championship fixtures * 6 of those 9 fixtures also went over 2.5 goals * 11 games into the season, these two sides are separated by 20 positions and 13 points * Rotherham won last season's corresponding fixture 2.1 Team News * Rotherham's new loan signing Harry Toffolo is likely to start but * The Millers will be missing Danny Ward, Joe Newell, Lee Frecklington, Joe Mattock, and Richard Smallwood. *Matej Vydra is back for Reading after a a hamstring injury. * Hal Robson-Kanu, Anton Ferdinand and Stephen Quinn are rated doubtful for Reading Final Verdict - Away win and goals likely here Reading are in great form and I fancy the away win @1/1 but Rotherham usually put up a good fight at home and BTTS is entirely possible at a good price of 5/6 as well and this one is a good contender to go over 2.5 goals as well so I'll try the combo @6/4 as well. ________________________________________________________________________________________ Championship Suggested Bets Rotherham vs Reading - BTTS @5/6 Rotherham vs Reading - BTTS and over 2.5 goals @6/4 Rotherham vs Reading - Reading to win @ 1/1 Queens Park Rangers vs Sheffield Wednesday - BTTS @8/11 Queens Park Rangers vs Sheffield Wednesday - BTTS and over 2.5 goals @6/5 Huddersfield vs MK Dons - BTTS @8/11 Huddersfield vs MK Dons - Draw @ 13/5 Comments are closed.
