I’ve picked out three more matches for my previews today with games from Scotland, Germany and Holland. Rangers travel to Greenock to take on Morton in the lunch time BT Sport live game which is followed by Eintracht Frankfurt at home to Hertha Berlin while Feyenoord will expect to take 3 points from the unbeaten PEC Zwolle. Here are my “Key Facts” and previews with suggested bets for each fixture. Scottish Championship
13.30 – Morton vs Rangers – Prediction – 1.3 – Suggested Bets – Rangers to win and BTTS @6/4, Rangers -1 to win @ 8/11 Key Facts * Rangers have won 6 out of 6 away fixtures this season in all competitions, scoring 25 in the process * 4 of those 6 away fixtures have seen BTTS * Rangers have won all 7 league fixtures so far, scoring 24 goals. * Rangers suffered their first defeat of the season on Tuesday after being knocked out of the League cup 3.1 to St Johnstone * Morton have lost just 1 of 10 fixtures so far this season * Morton have drawn their last 4 home league fixtures * Morton knocked out PL Motherwell from the League Cup on Tuesday, winning 3.2 after extra time Final Verdict Rangers should be good enough to claim their 8th successive win here but they have struggled in their last 2 performances, narrowly edging past Dumbarton last weekend before losing at home to St Johnstone on Tuesdsay and a response is expected here but Morton are a tough team to beat at the moment, and this should be a decent encounter. The Gers have shown definite defensive weaknesses since the beginning of the season and while Morton are not free scorers, they are capable of breaching Rangers and BTTS is priced @5/6. I expect Rangers to take advantage of Morton’s midweek exertions but it might not be as easy as some of their other victories in this division so far. I’m going for an away win with BTTS @6/4 as I expect Morton to put up a strong performance for the first 60 minutes before their midweek exertions take effect and that’s when Rangers class should tell. Eredivisie 13:30 Feyenoord vs PEC Zwolle – Prediction 2.1- Suggested Bets – BTTS @8/11 – Feyenoord to win and BTTS @7/4, Key Facts * Feyenoord have won 10 of their last 12 home league fixtures, including the last 3 * Feyenoord have seen BTTS in 9 of their last 13 home league fixtures but not in the last 2 * 5 of PEC’S last 6 league fixtures have gone over 2.5 goals * PEC Zwolle are undefeated in their last 7 league fixtures * PEC Zwolle have scored at least 2 goals in 5 of their last 6 league fixtures * PEC have scored in 14 of their last 15 league fixtures * PEC have seen BTTS in 6 of their last 8 league fixtures and in 2 of their last 3 on the road * Feyenoord have seen over 2.5 goals in 5 of their last 6 matches against PEC in all comps * Feyenoord have scored at least 2 goals in their last 7 home fixtures against PEC in all comps. * Feyenoord beat PEC 3.0 in Rotterdam only 3 days ago in the Dutch Cup. Final Verdict – Feyenoord too strong but goals are possible. This is a fixture where the home side always seems to win with each of the last 9 fixtures seeing the team with home advantage taking the points and I expect a similar outcome here with Feyenoord looking very solid in Rotterdam. PEC though are a strong team these days and they can make life difficult for their more illustrious opponents who have started the season reasonably well under former Rangers and Barcelona midfielder Giovanni Van Bronckhorst. The visitors have a good record against the bigger names in the league while they have made a fine start to the season, remaining unbeaten so far in 6 with 4 of those fixtures also seeing BTTS. Feyenoord are far too short to back @4/11 so I’m gonna take a chance on BTTS @8/11 and BTTS win cast on Feyenoord @7/4 odds in what should be a lively encounter from the de Kuip stadium. Bundesliga 14:30 Eintracht Frankfurt vs Hertha Berlin – Prediction – Suggested Bets – Eintracht Frankfurt to win @1/1 * Frankurt have won 6 of their last 9 home Bundesliga fixtures * Frankfurt are unbeaten in 13 home Bundesliga fixtures * 9 of their last 12 home fixtures have seen BTTS and 5 of their 7 most recent league fixtures * Frankfurt have kept just 1 clean sheet in their last 7 league fixtures * Frankfurt are without a goal in 2 games, after scoring 10 in the previous 2 matches. * Frankfurt have seen BTTS in 5 of their last 6 home fixtures * Hertha have lost 5 of their last 6 away league fixtures * Hertha have scored in 3 of their last 4 away league fixtures * Last season’s corresponding fixture finished in a thrilling 4.4 draw Final Verdict – Home win with BTTS possible I like the chances of a home win here at 1/1 odds with Frankfurt really strong at home and Hertha losing 5 of their last 6 away league fixtures. Given Frankfurt’s leaky defence, with clean sheets a rarity and not the norm, there is every chance we will see BTTS @8/13 but I feel the better value lies in the home win @1/1 odds with Eintracht unbeaten in 13 at home, and winning their last home fixture with a thumping 6.2 triumph against Koln. Suggested Bets Feyenoord vs PEC Zwolle – Prediction 2.1- Suggested Bets – BTTS @8/11 Feyenoord to win and BTTS @7/4, Morton v Rangers – Rangers to win and BTTS @6/4 Rangers -1 to win @ 8/11 Eintracht Frankfurt vs Hertha Berlin – Eintracht Frankfurt to win @1/1 Comments are closed.
