13.45 Lausanne Sport v Sion Prediction 1.2 Best Bets – BTTS and over 2.5 goals @4/5, Sion to win @17/20 Key Facts
Final Result BTTS and over 2.5 goals scored @4/5 = Implied Probability of 55.5% Sion to win @17/20 = Implied Probability of 54% Final Verdict An away win with goals looks entirely possible here with both sides particularly strong in the over 2.5 goals and BTTS markets. With 10 losses in their last 12, the home side are in a desperate run of form while Sion, with 8 wins in their last 12 and 4 wins from their last 7 on the road, are in much the better form and historically, this has been a favoured hunting ground for Sion with 5 wins coming from their last 6 trips to Lausanne and at a shade under even money, Sion can be backed with some confidence to claim the 3 points. Goals though are the staple of my diet and I like the 4/5 on offer for my BTTS and over 2.5 goals double. We can see from the stats that both sides see between 70 and 80% of all matches finishing with these outcomes and I’m backing it here with LS recent fixtures proving bountiful in the search for goals (18 in their last 3). Back BTTS and over 2.5 goals @4/5 with Sion to win also worth considering for a small stakes acca. Best Bets – BTTS and over 2.5 goals @4/5, Sion to win @17/20 14:00 Sassuolo vs AC Milan Prediction 2.2 Best Bets – BTTS @4/6, BTTS and over 2.5 goals @11/10 Key Facts
BTTS @4/6 = Implied Probability of 60% BTTS and over 2.5 goals @11/10 = Implied Probability of 48% Final Verdict If the current BTTS stats of these two sides don’t make this a compelling selection, then surely the historical aspect gives some weight to my two picks here with Sassuolo boasting a 100% home record in their 3 previous meetings with Milan. Indeed, 7 of the 8 meetings between these two sides have seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals scored and this fixture has turned into a little bit of a classic since their first ever meeting, a stunning 4.3 home win for Sassuolo back in 2014. Sass might not be playing well at home with 5 losses in their last 8 but they have won their last 3 on the road and I expect them to take some confidence from those wins and push Milan all the way in a fixture that always seems to bring the best out in them. BTTS looks solid @4/6 and with this fixture so often producing fireworks, I have to take the BTTS and over 2.5 goals double @11/10. I don’t consider either price to be especially generous but nevertheless I fancy both picks with Sassuolo worth considering @2/1 to cause another upset and beat their more illustrious opponents for a 4th successive home league win in as many years. Best Bets – BTTS @4/6, BTTS and over 2.5 goals @11/10 14.00 - Chievo v Pescara Prediction – 2.1 Best Bets –BTTS @8/13, BTTS and over 2.5 goals @1/1 Key Facts
Final Result BTTS @8/13 – Implied Probability = 61% Final Verdict History might not be on our side but BTTS has every chance here with Chievo welcoming a buoyant Pescara side who grabbed their first win of the season in stunning style as they trounced Genoa 5.0 last weekend. That stunning result came in the first match in charge of the wily figure of Zdenek Zeman and with the experienced Czech in charge, Pescara could be set to stage something of a revival as they bid to escape near certain relegation. Chievo are not in the best of form, especially at home with 3 defeats in their last 4 and only 2 wins in their last 10 and I fancy the visitors to give them a bit more of a test than they might have been expecting a fortnight ago. BTTS is priced up @ 8/13 which is not especially generous while over 2.5 goals is @4/6 odds but both bets seem more likely than the 60% probability suggested by the prices and I’m going to try both, as a double @1/1 odds. Best Bets – BTTS @8/13, BTTS and over 2.5 goals @1/1 Sporting Gijon v Celta Prediction – 2.3 Best Bets – BTTS @7/10, BTTS and over 2.5 goals @6/5, Celta to score 2 goals or more @5/4 Key Facts
Final Verdict BTTS @7/10 = Implied Probability of 59% BTTS @6/5 = Implied Probability of 45% Celta to score 2 or more @5/4 = Implied Probability of 44% Final Result Goals should be on the cards with Sporting so prolific in both of my favourite markets of BTTS and over 2.5 goals. Celta aren’t quite as strong in that regard, but they are a stronger team and they will fancy their chances of scoring a couple of goals or more against a Sporting defence that has been charitable to say the least in this campaign. I like the value on offer for all 3 of my selections, especially the first 2 with Sporting much more prolific in the BTTS market than the price on offer suggests. With over 80% of home matches in the last 18 months seeing BTTS and over 90% in the last 3 months, 7/10 seems too big and I am taking that, along with the likely over 2.5 goals outcome at combined odds of 6/5.
