It was another brilliant Saturday with 14.5 points earned and I'm hoping to continue that form with an interesting looking card for Sunday. We have two fixtures from the Premier League including a tasty looking contest between Swansea and Man Utd while there should be goals in the big clash from Holland as PSV host Feyenoord. There's Spanish and Italian fixtures later in the evening and if I have time I will look to do some research before posting suggested bets later in the day. Time permitting. For now, here are the previews for the best of the afternoon kick-offs from across UK and Europe. Premier League 14:30 Southampton vs Norwich - Prediction - 1.1 - Suggested Bets - Norwich not to lose @5/6 Norwich travel to Southampton in better form than the hosts today and I fancy them to come away from the south coast with at least a point in the first of two Sky live fixtures. Ronald Koeman's side have really struggled so far this season and were eliminated from the Europa League on Thursday and with the continued absence of some key players in defence, I expect their struggles to continue today against a Norwich team that have performed well so far on their return to the top flight with 4 points taken from 3 fixtures. I don't expect a lot of goals here with Koeman looking for more solidity from his side in defence with a swtich to a back three but Norwich are good going forward and the Saints will need to improve if they are going to win here against a confident side but I don't think they will and the visitors could come away with at least a point so I'll go with Norwich not to lose @5/6. 17:00 Swansea vs Manchester United - Prediction 2.2 - Suggested Bets - BTTS @ 4/5, Swansea or draw @4/6, BTTS and over 2.5 @11/8 Swansea have a terrific recent record over Man Utd having won 3 of their last 4 contests including both of last season's league meetings and they could get at least a draw here in what should be a good contest here in the second of our Super Sunday Sky live fixtures. 5 of the last 6 meetings between the two sides have seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals and I fancy the BTTS part to come up here @4/5 with BTTS and over 2.5 @11/8 United won handsomely in Belgium in mid-week but the standard of their opposition was distinctly average and I still feel Louis Van Gaal's side are lacking something in their overall fluidity going forward but Wayne Rooney's return to form will be a welcome bonus for LVG with United somewhat limp in attack in the league with just 2 goals in 3 games so far. Unbeaten so far this season, Swansea have performed really well in their opening fixtures and I fancy they will get at least a point here in a potentially exciting fixture. Bundesliga 15:30 Borussia Dortmund vs Hertha Berlin - Prediction - 3.0 - Dortmund -1 @ 8/13, Dortmund to score 3 or more @5/6 Dortmund are scoring goals for fun with 19 in 4 fixtures so far this season and they should take care of Hertha here with something to spare in the first of two Bundesliga fixtures today. 4 of Dortmund's last 5 at home have seen them victorious by at least 2 goals, including a win over today's opponents as recently as May, a 2.0 success and I expect that is the minimum they will achieve here @8/13 odds on the -1 handicap. They have won both of their opening two league fixtures with 4.0 wins over Moenchengladbach and Ingolstadt respectively and they should continue the form today against an average but usually gritty Hertha. I was really impressed with Borussia in their opening day 4.0 victory over Moenchengladbach, under their new management team and I expect them to win comfortably and they could score 3 or more as well @5/6 odds. Eredivisie 16:45 PSV Eindhoven vs Feyenoord = Prediction - 2.1 - Suggested Bets - BTTS @4/7, BTTS and over 2.5 @20/21 Goals look likely here in this clash between two of Dutch football's heavyweights as Feyenoord travel to Eindhoven to face a PSV side that have dropped points in 2 of their opening 3 fixtures. 5 of the last 6 meetings have seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals and that outcome looks probable here @4/5 odds with Feyenoord starting the season well with 3 successive wins. PSV are very strong at home though, winning 18 of their last 19 and I do expect them to get back to winning ways here but with only 3 clean sheets in their last 9 at home in the league, I fancy BTTS @4/7 odds and BTTS and over 2.5 is likely as well @20/21 The hosts should win @8/11 odds but I prefer the odds on the goal markets here in what is usually an exciting contest between two big rivals. SPFL 13.30 - Q.O.S V Rangers -Prediction - 0.3 - Rangers to win -1 AH (Asian Handicap) @1.625 odds or Rangers -1 @21/20 It's hard to look past Rangers at the moment with the Glasgow giants looking for an 8th successive win under their new boss Mark Warburton. Last season Rangers lost both of their league visits to Q.O.S but this is a hugely improved and revitalised team and I expect them to win again and probably should be by more than 1 goal. You can back them on then Asian line knowing that a win by more than 1 pays out while a 1 goal victory returns your stake and that's my best bet here but I am tempted by the standard handicap bet at just over evens with Rangers scoring 25 goals in just 7 fixtures, winning 6 of those by more than 1. If you fancy a goalscorer bet, James Tavernier has been a revelation at full-back scoring 5 goals in 7 games with some brilliant free-kicks to boot and he is 2/1 to score anytime here again. I'll stick with the asian line bet with full confidence that Rangers will continue their winning ways and make it 8 in a row for the brilliant Warburton who really has transformed both the playing style and the general atmosphere at a club badly in need of something to smile about. Suggested Bets Southampton vs Norwich - Norwich not to lose @5/6 Swansea vs Manchester United - BTTS @ 4/5 Swansea or draw @4/6 Swansea v Man Utd - BTTS and over 2.5 @11/8 Borussia Dortmund vs Hertha Berlin - Dortmund -1 @ 8/13 Dortmund to score 3 or more @5/6 PSV Eindhoven vs Feyenoord - BTTS @4/7 PSV Eindhoven vs Feyenoord - BTTS and over 2.5 @20/21 Q.O.S V Rangers - Rangers to win -1 AH (Asian Handicap) @1.625 odds Rangers to win -1 @21/20 Comments are closed.
