Time is running out for Jose Mourinho as his Chelsea side lurch from one defeat to another, each one more painful than the one it proceeded. This is not just a blip, this is a full blow crisis and Jose knows it. Or at least, he ought to. There are plenty of moronic pundits, ex-footballers mostly who are aghast at the mere notion of Jose losing his job. He's the "Special One" after all. He's won it all, he's done it all and he cannot possibly get the sack, at least in in their eyes. But why? are they not watching Chelsea this season? Whether the players are behind the manager is now hugely debatable. No doubt a big group of them are still with the boss but there is no question that issues must exist inside this dressing room for a slump like this to have gone on for four months now. The upcoming law suit filed by the now former Doctor Eva Cameiro is another disaster for Mourihno who really ought to regret his outburst on that day when he so delightfully referred to the young lady as a "filho de puta" and that now looks likely to have caused some of the major issues that exist within the club now.
Jose could well be out of a job in the coming days or weeks and his only chance now is to make major changes to his team because far too many players are under performing or look to be way past their best and with the transfer window closed, Jose must look for alternatives within his squad, or indeed with the youth team. John Terry is done. His legs are gone. Sorry John. Terry has been a tremendous player for 15 years now but the time has come for the captain to leave not only the team but the club itself. His ego sitting on the bench would likely cause further issues with the morale of the squad and Mourinho must look to replace him both in the short and long term. The same could be said for Branislav Ivanovic who is no longer quick enough to play at right-back. The Serb is young enough at 31 to still recover his form but surely a central role would be his best option in the coming months with Cesar Azpilicueta a natural right back and an obvious solution. Summer singning Baba Rahman should be given his chance at left-back with Azpilicueta on the right and then it has to be Cahill and Zouma at centre-back with further reinforcements required in the future. In the short term, Chelsea could use one of the thousands of players they seem to have on loan or actually use someone from the youth team. Heaven forbid. In reality, the whole Chelsea team looks riddled with problems but if Jose is going to survive this crisis then the time to be bold has surely come. He has to get a response out of his squad, he has to make changes to his own attitude. How can he expect a good performance from his team when his mentality with the media and all is one of such despondency and negativity. Stop being a cunt Jose is what really needs to be said to this once like-able rogue who is now finding out what it feels like to lose. That in essence is the real issue for Jose. Losing. There is no doubting the ability of the man, of the coach but his ego has carried him along way in football, and with the media, but when the results start to go against you, your image can change dramatically and the result for Mourihno is a tsunami of criticism and negative analysis that is completely new to him. He has not responded well. The pundits will tell you he's too good to go, too special to be sacked but the reality is that no manager is impenetrable to the sack, not in 2015 and whether Jose can make it out of this crisis with his reputation and job still in tact is very much in doubt.
