It's a relatively quiet Monday with just 1 top flight game from Spain as Valencia host a poor Granada outfit while Bournemouth can all but seal their place in the Premier League with a home win over Bolton which should make for entertaining viewing in front of the Sky TV cameras tonight. Here are my previews for both of tonight's fixtures and I'm feeling confident about the selections highlighted. Championship 20:45 Bournemouth vs Bolton - Prediction - 3.2 - Best Bet - BTTS @1/1 BTTS and over 2.5 goals @5/4, Bournemouth to win and BTTS @7/4 What a remarkable season it has been for Bournemouth and 1 more win here tonight will all but seal a stunning promotion to next season's Premier League for the first time in the clubs history. With a vastly superior goal difference, Bournemouth know that 3 points here will allow them to start the celebrations tonight, and how they deserve it after lighting up the league with an expansive brand of football that has produced some truly sensational results for the leagues top scoring outfit. Bolton stand in their way and the bookies are convinced that the home side will be cracking the champagne open at 10.00 PM tonight with the hosts just 2/7 odds on to claim the win they need, but I'm not convinced it will be quite that easy for the sweet Cherries tonight. 10 of Bournemouth's last 15 at home have seen BTTS with 11 of those 15 matches going over 2.5 goals so you have to expect we will see some goals again tonight and this is where the stats get interesting. Bolton have scored at least 1 goal in 20 of their last 23 in the league, including each of their last 6 and in 9 of their last 12 away games as well, so the chances of BTTS look pretty high to me, especially when you factor in that the home side are bound to be extra nervous with all that is riding on the outcome of their final 2 fixtures. BTTS is overpriced at 21/20 and I also like the looks of BTTS and over 2.5 goals @ 5/4. I do fancy the hosts to win tonight though and given the type of season that they have had, it would not surprise me if this one is something of a thriller so I might take a chance on the correct score mentioned with my pocket change. I'm going with Bournemouth to win and BTTS as well as over 2.5 goals although I am yet to decide which of those bets will make it into my final selections. La Liga 20:45 Valencia vs Granada - Prediction 3.0- Best Bet - Valencia -1 to win @ 8/11, Valencia to score 2 or more goals @4/11 The stats make this bet a pretty clear cut choice with Granada (holding the poorest away record in the league visiting a Valencia team that are super strong at home. Granada have lost 9 of their last 10 away games in the league, including each of their last 5, conceding a remarkable 32 goals in the process (9 to Real Madrid in 1 game alone!) and have just 7 points on the road all season. Of the 11 games that they have lost on the road, 9 have been by more than 1 goal, including the 9.1 defeat to Real, a 5.1 at Sevilla and a 6.0 to Barcelona. Valencia therefor should have little to worry about tonight given that they themselves have won 13 games at home this season, including 8 of their last 9 and a home fixture against Granada is unlikely to have them preoccupied although complacency is always a possibility in a fixture like this and with Granada 3 points adrift of safety, they still have much to play for. 10 of Valencia's 13 home wins were delivered with more than a 1 goal margin of victory and I expect a similar out come tonight as the hosts ease to a routine victory. Valencia -1 goal is 8/11 and I'm confident enough to back that but if you are looking for a more secure pick then Valencia to score 2 or more at 4/11 odds does look to be a virtual banker considering the stats with Granada conceding 2 or more in their last 10 away games and Valencia scoring 2 or more in 13 of 16 home games this season.
