BET 1) 2% OF BANKROLL, 4 UNITS, 40 EUROS AZ V AJAX, BTTS AT 8/15 40 euros returns 62 euros lost BET 2) 1 % OF BANKROLL, 2UNITS, 20 EUROS LEVANTE V BETIS UNDER 2.5 GOALS AT 8/13 ALMERIA V VALENCIA BTTS AT 4/5 DOUBLE RETURNS 57 EUROS lost The tie in Holland looks a good bet with AZ and Ajax historically producing high scoring affairs. In their last 6 meetings, 3 have finished 3.2, and another at 2.2 The exceptions were a 4.0 and 3.0 victory for either side. Over 2.5 goals is a possibility but I fancy the btts to be the more likely outcome with AZ at home and unlikely to fail to score. With it being a cup tie, I expect back and forth action and over 3.5 goals is a distinct possibility. No need to be greedy and I will stick with btts. In Spain, Levante host Betis and I have gone for one of my least favourite bets (only because you have to wish for 0 goals) but the stats cry out for under 2.5 here. Levante have gone under 2.5 for 8 of their last 10 with the exceptions being heavy defeats to Real Madrid and a 3.2 loss against Sevilla. They entertain a struggling Betis who lie at the foot of the table. In recent weeks they have tightened up and have gone under 2.5 goals for their last 6. I see this as a low scoring, tight affair which Levante could edge 1.0. Under 2.5 goals looks the clear selection though. Finally, Almeria entetain Valencia in what should be an entertaining fixture. Almeria's last 4 fixtures have produced a whopping 20 goals and they have the 3rd poorest defensive record in the league but will be heartened by a tremendous 4..3 win over Real Sociedad at the weekend. Meanwhile, Valencia are no great shakes but should have enough to get by a porous Almeria backline at least once. Not sure it is going to be a goal glut but btts at 4/5 is a decent price. a sad night and a lesson learned Comments are closed.
