I'm under the weather with some nasty wisdom toothache (must be all those amazing wise winners I keep finding) so I haven't the energy to do a big write up for today's matches but I have had a look over the stats and form for the 5 matches we have tonight.
Here are today's previews, predictions and best bets. It was another profitable day for bobookies to bring to conclusion a fine weekend with 3 successive days of winners! I split the day into 2 parts and it was a good start to the afternoon as my first double landed with BTTS in the games at Palermo and Atalanta and then in the later games I landed another BTTS double with goals in the games at Lazio and Empoli. In fact all 7 of the Italian games saw BTTS and I spoke last week about the possibility of goals in this division and I'm glad I didn't miss out yesterday. In the end my final profit for the day of 3.8 points wasn't huge and I missed out on a tasty treble by 1 solitary goal as Den Haag failed to hit the net which had they done, would have brought up another 7.75 points of profit with my tasty treble. Still it was a fine weekend with over 17 points of profit over the course of 3 days and you can't really argue with that! Given the amount of home bankers that failed this weekend, there aren't too many people counting their winnings but bobookies successfully avoided about half a dozen home selections that bust plenty of coupons across the land and as advertised, I pick the winners and dodge the bullets. Here are my final results from Sunday and overall totals for the month which are beginning to look very handsome indeed. Late kickoffs
Bo's Deadly Double Total Staked - 2.5 Points Potential Returns - 6.7 Points Lazio v Inter - BTTS @4/6 Empoli v Fiorentina - BTTS @8/13 Bo's Tasty Treble Total Staked - 1.5 Points Potential Returns - 9.2 Points Celta v Sevilla - BTTS and over 2.5 @4/5 Lazio to beat Inter @4/5 Empoli to beat Fiorentina draw no bet @10/11 Bo's Silly Single Total Staked - 0.5 Points Potential Returns - 5 Points Elche to beat Villareal @9/1 Bo's Dodgy Double Total Staked - 0.69 Points Potential Returns = 6.26 Points Koln V Schalke - draw @23/10 Empoli to beat Fiorentina @7/4 and the justifications for my bets below. Here are my best bets for today's afternoon fixtures. I've changed Celtic for Cesena in my treble.
I don't have time for previews today but all my selections have been analysed and stand up to statistical analysis. I'm going to split my bets for today into early afternoon and late afternoon selections due to time constraints.
Here are my predictions and best bets for the best of the action kicking off no later than 1530 CET. It was an excellent Saturday for Bobookies as 2 of my 3 best bets triumphed to give me 7 points of profit, while I also tipped up plenty of winners from both the UK and Europe.
The day got off to a good start with my 2.5 points on BTTS at Ipswich winning before the end of the first half while we dodged a bullet as Everton lost at home to Sunderland in the 2 early games. I put all the returned cash from the BTTS on Villa to win and the form continued with their 1.0 success over West Ham and then Leicester beating Southampton as well as BTTS at Newcastle to bring up my 2nd double. In Germany I was pleased to see Moenchengladbach win as well as my BTTS tip at Hannover and overall it was a pretty good day with over 7 points of profit! while I avoided some real bullets as odds on favourites Juventus, Bayern, Everton, Real Madrid and Bilbao all failed to win at home and I advised against betting on each of those supposed home bankers. I also got 4 correct score predictions as well in the games at Palace, Newcastle, Dortmund and Madrid on a day where most things went to plan. I Here are today's results in full and my overall scores for May. It's a big day in the UK with some crucial matches north and south of the border with crucial relegation battles in the PL as well as play-off action from the Championships in England and Scotland.
I fancied BTTS in the early game at Ipswich and tweeted my 2.5 point selection pre kick-off and it's already a winner! Here are the rest of today's bets. With fewer fixtures in England to look at, I have spent a bit of time examining some of the European football although it looks like a tricky card in the Bundesliga esecially and finding winners will be tough. I'm hopeful of goals in the big game from Spain later in the evening as Valencia visit the Bernabeu while Moenchengladbach's fixture with Leverkusen should be a belter with automatic Champions League positions up for grabs.. Here are my best bets for the day. With the lower leagues entering the play-offs in the UK, we have far fewer games to analyse today (thank you God) and it should allow me to focus more on the important relegation fixtures from the Premier League as well as the 2 crucial play-off fixtures from north and south of the border. Ipswich "welcome" local rivals Norwich for the first leg of their crucial Championship semi-final while Rangers travel to Queen of the South for their first leg as they attempt to rejoin the Scottish Premiership for the first time since their liquidation in 2012. There's plenty of important matches from the Premier League with 5 of the fixtures involving teams in and around the relegation zone so we should see plenty of thrills and spills with the season reaching it's conclusion. Here are my previews, predictions and best bets for all the best of the action across the UK today. It was a pretty good night for bobookies with 4 of my 5 suggested bets landing and my "dodgy double" turned out to be more deadly than dodgy to land at 12/1. I backed Espanyol to win at Eibar at 9/5 odds, and they delivered with a comfortable 2.0 success while Motherwell beat Kilmarnock by 3 goals to 1 to secure my BTTS and home win pick at 10/3 odds to return a fine double winner. Shame I kept the stakes low though although the 0.69 stake has of course been a lucky one for me in recent weeks. 69 Drama to those in the know. It would have been a 100% perfect night though had Brentford not been beaten by Middlesbrough although they were certainly unlucky to lose in the final moments of a match they looked like winning in the 2nd half. It was one of those nights where despite my success, I am cursing my low stakes and that I ignored PSG and the game in Germany which turned out to be the only correct score prediction I would make on the night. Here are the results and my overall scores for May. It's Friday and as usual that means that besides the delicious drink and smoke I am currently enjoying, I'm keeping the stakes low in preparation for the weekend, but as ever I have covered the action for tonight and have some decent selections for us to try to make some free money for the weekend fun.
To be honest, I'm not especially confident with these selections, probably because they are all over evens. Still, it's worth a little bit of our bank roll for a TFIF feeling. Here are the best bets for a low stakes Friday. It's another beautiful Friday and we have a few fixtures from across the continent to consider tonight before the big weekend action including a crucial Championship play-off between Brentford and Middlesbrough as well as a relegation battle in Scotland. Here are my previews, predictions and best bets for a fun Friday! Holders Sevilla got the job done in style on Thursday as they spanked Fiorentina 3.0 in the first leg of their Semi-final to give themselves a clear advantage ahead of the 2nd leg in Florence next week.
Unfortunately Napoli succumbed to a late Dnipro equalizer but with Sevilla 3.0 up by this stage, it was an obvious opportunity to cover the possibility of a late equalizer for Dnipro and that's how it materialised as the Ukrainians scored with 81 minutes on the clock. Shortly after Seville made it 3.0 I was able to take half a point and cover it on a Dnipro equalizer @8/1 odds which ensured we wouldn't end the night empty handed. Sometimes it's not possible to cover your bets but this was a clear opportunity with Seville clear winners and Napoli only 10 minutes from getting their win. I will try to tweet my cover bets but to be honest, I forget sometimes and at this stage, it should be obvious when a bet can be covered for very little to ensure profit. Still, I was disappointed that Napoli couldn't hold or extend their lead while the performance by Seville was even more dominant than expected as they ran out easy winners over a poor Fiorentina. Here are last night's results. The Europa League is not popular with everyone but there has been plenty of drama and excitement in this years' event and hopefully that can continue tonight and for the remainder of the tournament. I expect 2 home wins with Sevilla facing the harder test (on paper at least) with the visit of Fiorentina to the south of Spain. Napoli should get past Dnipro as well which could set us up for a showdown between 2 of Diego Maradona's former clubs at the final in Warsaw in 3 weeks time. But that's a story for another day. Here are my best bets: It's Semi-Final time in the Europa League and the competition has a lot to live up to following those 2 tremendous Champions League Semi-Finals from the last 48 hours. Tonight it's the turn of Napoli as they welcome Ukrainian surprise package Dnipro to Naples, while the other Semi sees former winners Sevilla host Italians Fiorentina. Here are my previews and best bets for tonight's action with 2 home wins expected @bobreaksbookies. It was an excellent night for bobookies as Barcelona romped home to a 3.0 success over Bayern with Leo Messi at his majestic best before Neymar rounded things off in the final moments of the match with a 3rd that surely killed off Pep's Bayern and handed me my delicious free in-play choice of Neymar anytime goalscorer @6/4. In my pre-match preview, I highlighted 4 out of 5 winning best bets including Barca to win, to score 2 or more, to win and over 2.5 match goals and Neymar to score anytime and it was only Bayern's failure to score at the other end that denied me a perfect night. if I had gone for my 1 other highlighted bet of Barca to win and over 2.5 goals @8/5, rather than the BTTS and win selection, it would have been a truly perfect night but 6 points profit is a good return on a fixture like this. In the end I used my free bet on Neymar anytime so the stake included in my best bets was in fact a free stake from my main bet which was of course Barcelona to win @3/4. Unfortunately, because the bet365 offer was restricted to 25 euros in Spain, I was only able to stake 2.5 Points on the Neymar bet having placed 2.5 (and a further 1.5) on the Barca win. Here is a reminder of last night's selections; It's showtime, Barcelona v Bayern in the Nou Camp. It should be a cracker and I'm going for goals and a home win.
I'm still undecided though on what I will use my free bet on tonight but Neymar to score anytime could be the one although in recent weeks I've been pretty unlucky in picking anytime Barca goal scorers; when I've picked Messi it's been Suarez, when I picked Suarez it was Neymar. Now I'm putting the hex on Neymar. Here are tonight's bets. What a game we have in store for us tonight with Pep Guardiola returning to Barcelona for the first time as he leads his Bayern Munich outfit into the Nou Camp for the first leg in their Champions League Semi-Final. It should be a cracking contest in Spain and bet365 have another of their in-play free bet offers tonight so once again I will be looking for a couple of good bets for this contest. Here is my preview, prediction and best bets for tonight's big game. It's been a few days since I looked at my total for May having had a rather busy weekend with the boxing and a short vacation from work.
Saturday was my first betting day for the month and I won 4 points betting on the football with my main deadly double returning 12 points from a 3.5 stake, but lost it all betting on Pacman so in the end, only an even day and a late one too having stayed awake all night watching that so called fight. Sunday was a blow-out because of the boxing and on Monday I failed to land either of my doubles to record a 4.5 point loss for the day desp[ite picking BTTS and win for Arsenal at Hull. Yesterday went a little better as Ronaldo scored to land my 2nd single of the day but it was a frustrating night having tipped up Juve or draw and in the end going for the draw. I still claimed 1.5 points in profit for the day to move us back in the right direction and we have another shot at the free in play offer with bet365 tonight in the 2nd Champions League semi-final. Here are my totals for May so far. So I'm sitting on the fence and going for a draw at 9/4 odds and I am planning to use my free in play bet on a correct score of 1.1.
Here are today's bets. It's the first of our Semi-Finals in this season's Champions League as Italian Champions Juventus welcome holders Real Madrid to Turin for the first leg in what should be an absorbing but tight contest. I'm looking to bounce back from the disappointment of last night where I landed both of my bets at Hull v Arsenal, but was let down by an inept display from Parma as they were crushed 4.0 by Cagliari to defeat both of my doubles. With only one fixture tonight, my focus is on finding a winner or 2 for the special bet 365 offer which I have discussed in my previous post. The option is there to play it safe or take a chance but in a fixture like this, it's going to be tough to find a big winner. Here's hoping. Bo's Deadly Double
Total Staked - 2.5 Points Potential Returns - 7.6 Points Hull v Arsenal - BTTS @5/6 Cagliari v Parma -= BTTS @4/6 Bo's Deadly Double Total Staked - 2 Points Potential Returns - 10.9 Points Hull v Arsenal - BTTS and over 2.5 goals @7/5 Cagliari v Parma - Parma not to lose @5/4 The big fight turned out to be a big disappointment, not only in the result but in the manner of the outcome as Floyd Mayweather easily outpointed Manny Pacquiao in a fight that failed by some distance to live up to the hype.
Unfortunately, having stayed awake til 7am to watch the "fight", I was in no position to do Sunday bets although I might have gone for BTTS at Spurs, so perhaps it was a good day to avoid. I was pretty gutted about the result in the boxing, although my stake on Pacman to win was funded by my earlier success with my main double in the football returning a good victory thanks to Leicester's handsome win over rudderless Newcastle and I will post my saturday results later on today. It's a bank holiday in the UK which means a day off from real work for bobookies and I will be heading to the beach to enjoy a beautiful sunny day in Barcelona although I have taken the time to take a look at the football tonight. Arsenal visit Hull while in Italy, Cagliari need the points at home to relegated Parma and there is a boring La Liga fixture that won't be considered. Here are tonight's previews, predictions and best bets. I'm posting my best bets earlier than normal with the Championship fixtures getting the day off to an early start at 1315 CET.
I'm going with 2 doubles and 2 trebles to kick the weekend off and hopefully set us up nicely for the huge fight tonight! #Team Pacman #BOlieve |
