Sunday turned into a white-wash with none of my best bets winning which meant I donated 10 points back to those dastardly bookies. Had Genoa managed a goal, it would have been an even day and had Palace got a draw or better, we would have won 6 points but this is life, this is gambling and we move on to an action packed midweek. I didn't do any bets today but I did make 2 winning tips on "mrfixitstips.co.uk" with 2 of the users there asking for suggested bets in two leagues I don't follow, namely the Danish Super Liga and Portuguese Primeira Liga. I suggested Randers to score 2 or more @6/4 and BTTS between Braga and Maritimo to generate a 5/1 double that I had precisely 0 Euros on myself. Typical. So, it's not been the luckiest of weekends but I'm hoping to get back on track with my new style of previews and I have covered 4 games from Europe tomorrow including 3 from the 4 games on offer in the Bundesliga, as well as the sole fixture in Italy between Udinese and Milan. I will post a subsequent preview for the UK Cup action but for now, here's what I've come up with for the best of Tuesday's European domestic league action. Here are Sunday's "Best Bets" and once again I am trying a fair number of small stakes bets as well as my usual "Deadly Doubles" and "Tasty Trebles". Good luck and let's smash those bookies! Saturday turned out to be not so bad with my 15/1 BTTS and over 2.5 goals treble getting me into profit for the day after my main "deadly double" flopped. I also landed my 2nd "deadly double" with BTTS in 2 games in the Championship on a day that returned just over 2 points profit. I have decided to change the format of my previews by replacing the standard prose with my "Key Facts" and "Final Verdict" which should hopefully make the previews easier to read. The Key facts are listed as bullet points and are largely based around the selections I have highlighted. I hope this is more accessible for all and I would be glad to hear your feedback on this. So, we have 8 fixtures in Serie A today and I'm looking for goals with this league now a real favourite of mine for the BTTS market and we have some tasty looking fixtures today including the late game between Napoli and Lazio. I've picked out six for a closer analysis and here's what I've come up with. We have 3 Premier League fixtures today with Man Utd's trip to Southampton the pick of the bunch while the London derby between Spurs and Palace should be entertaining. In Germany there's a big game between free scoring Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen while I fancy some goals in the game between Stuttgart and Schalke. Here are the key facts and suggested bets for the best of English and German action today. Here are my small change bets for today with plenty of matches to try. Watching the 2 early games, my BTTS came up at Forest and my two selections at Chelsea are looking good. Hope you followed because I decided to leave out the early games today. Doh. I'm putting a lot of confidence in my primary bet for today with my "Deadly Double" and hoping to continue the early season form which has seen some really good Saturday's already. Here are all of my best bets for today and good luck for whatever you are on today. I will post a further selection of small stake bets in the next 30 minutes. It's back to my bread and butter with another weekend fast upon us and I am certainly looking to improve on what has been a poor few days for @bobreaksthebookies with the midweek European fixtures proving bit of a let down. Such periods are rare though and I've doubled my analysis and studying in an effort to get us back on the winning trail this weekend. I will post a results round-up for the previous days in due course. On Saturday we have 7 Premier League fixtures and I've picked out 5 games for full previews and suggested bets. Here's what I've come up with for the best of the Premier League action tomorrow. It's been a disappointing couple of days @bobreaksbookies with quite a lot of points handed back to the bookies and tonight was almost as frustrating as I didn't make any bets but the two selections I had in mind (BTTS @Ipswich and BTTS and over 2.5 goals @Mainz) both came in as winners. Fairly typical of my week. So, I decided to cheer myself up by looking back at my overall results since the season began and while September hasn't been as good as August, we did get through a tough International week for the loss of only 4.5 Points and having made bets on 26 days so far since August 8th, total profit currently stands at a very satisfying 85.6 Points. I will add this page as a tab on the site so that followers can see a simple daily analysis of my profit and loss and any newcomers will be able to get an idea of my current form. Here are the daily results since the season began. SATURDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER - BO'S BEST OF THE REST - PREVIEWS, PREDICTIONS AND SUGGESTED BETS18/9/2015
I've taken a close look at 5 further fixtures from across Europe including 3 fixtures from the Bundesliga, 1 from Serie A and 1 from the SPFL as goal scoring favourites Rangers are in action at Dumbarton. The Bundesliga is usually good for goals and that's what I'm looking for in the 3 matches covered including a "Rheinderby" between Koln and Moenchengladbach as well as Wolfsburg's home tie with Hertha. Here are the previews and suggested bets for the best of the rest on an action packed Saturday. I've picked out 5 games from the Championship to consider today including a big game at Wolves as league leaders Brighton look to continue their unbeaten start against a fellow promotion rival. Here's what I've picked out for today and due to a request, I've included a NAP selection and a NB which I will do for my Premier League preview as well. I've only looked at 4 of the games to kick-off at 8.05 including Augsburg's first ever European fixture, that an away trip to Bilbao as well as Fiorentina's home match with Basel. Beaten finalists from 2014 Dnipro can beat Lazio while Sporting Lisbon take on their 2nd Moscow opponent in the space of a month with the visit of Lokomotiv. Here's what I've come up with and I'll post my final picks at 1945 BST. I'm going to try some smaller stake bets for the early kick-offs in the Europa League with some further action to come at 2100 CET.
Here are my early kick-off best bets from the Europa League with more to follow. Possibly. Due to technical issues with my computer, today's previews have been significantly delayed so I have spent the afternoon focusing on the early games with 6 of them catching my eye for suggested bets. Time is of the essence, so here are the previews and suggested bets for the 6pm kick-offs and my best bets will follow shortly. I will then do the same again for the late games with previews and suggested bets to follow in due course. Apologies for grammar and spelling but as time is limited, I've not had much time to proof read this. Bobookies needs a staff! Around 3am last night I decided to head to bed and upon shutting down my computer I was informed by my lovely windows 8.1 system that 109 updates required to be installed. Ok, i'll leave it on overnight I thought. 11 hours later and the piece of **** has finally restarted and I'm back in business but the loss of time has hindered my study time for today significantly. Therefore, I will spent the next couple of hours looking at the 6pm kick-offs for tonight and post my best bets in two parts with the 8pm kick-off selections to follow. I won't be doing much tonight in terms of stakes, so we shall see what my analysis leads me to but I would prefer to spend my time looking at Saturday's fixtures given our success in recent weeks on those days. The last 2 days have been fairly rotten and my late night double posted to twitter was beaten only by the ineptitude of a Toronto team who could not find the net against over 2.5 goals specialists NYC with the other result seeing NE Rev beat the Red Bulls 2.1. With the Champions League results going badly as well and the pain of technology, it has been a tough 24 hours but I will do my best to deliver some decent picks for the notoriously tough to predict Europa League. Have a good one. 5 games have been covered in detail and that's what I'm sticking with for all of my selections tonight. I'm banking on away wins for Arsenal and Barcelona as well as a surprise performance in Greece. Best Bets.... It's part 2 of our midweek Champions League fare and after yesterday's disappointments I'm hoping to bounce back by focusing on 5 of the big games on offer tonight. Barcelona's trip to Roma looks like the highlight of the action available while I expect both of the English teams on display tonight to put up much better performances than the Manchester sides managed last night with Chelsea entertaining Maccabi Tel Aviv and Arsenal visiting Croatia to face champions DInamo Zagreb. I've analysed those games as well as the ties between Valencia and Zenit and Olympiakos and Bayern where the possibility of an upset is not to be ruled out. Here are my previews, predictions and suggested bets with my final selections to follow later this afternoon. Tuesday's results were hugely frustrating on a night where it was looking pretty good after 60 minutes but some expected goals failed to materialise and some unexpected setbacks costs me all of my best bets.
Forest scored early in the second half to give my main deadly double a chance but it was beaten by Birmingham's failure to score for the first time in 13 home games and both of my tasty trebles were denied, first by Wolfsburg's failure to add a second goal and then 10 man Reading not finding a way past Derby. To cap it all off, my anytime goalscorer pick of Orlando Sa manager a red card but sadly no goals after my first tip Tomer Hemed had put Brighton on their way to victory while Leeds also failed to score against an Ipswich side that got only their 2nd away clean sheet in 17 fixtures and that after conceding 5 to Reading 3 days earlier! What a night of football we have in store and I've gone with maximum stakes for this evenings fixtures with Wednesday and Thursday's stakes sure to be a little lower. I've gone for my usual set of 2 doubles and 2 trebles as well as some small stakes bets and anytime goalscorers. Here are your best bets for Tuesday, sponsored by me! Both Manchester clubs are in action tonight with red hot City hosting not so hot Juventus in an exciting looking tie while Louis Van Gaal returns to Holland to take on PSV in Eindhoven with Man United. It was a dismal year in Europe for England's top teams last season and City in particular have been handed another incredibly tough draw with further games against Europa League champions Sevilla and Bundesliga runners up Moenchengladbach still to come. United's draw has been kinder, as it always seems to be in the Champions League and they will expect to top a group also containing Wolfsburg and CSKA Moscow. Both sides are favourites to win on the night but here's my take on the 2 games in question. Tonight sees the return of the once great Champions League and there are some potentially exciting fixtures for us to consider with Man City's clash with Juventus looking like the most glamorous of the ties on offer. There could be goals in Germany as Wolfsburg return to the competition after a 6 year absence while PSG and Real Madrid are expected to record comfortable home wins against Malmo and Shakthar respectively. I will post a seperate preview for the two fixtures involving the two Manchester teams which leaves 6 matches to cover in this preview, of which I have highlighted 3 for my best bets. Here are my previews and suggested bets for the rest of the action tonight in the Champions League. Cue Champions League anthem. We have an action packed Tuesday with 10 games from the Championship and 8 from the Champions League to consider as we look to continue the superb start to the season @bobreaksthebookies. I've racked up over 110 points of profit since the season began in August with Sunday producing one of my best days yet with a remarkable 13 out of 14 suggested bets winning on the day. Still, you're only as good as your last bet and the pressure is on to maintain the form going into some tricky looking fixtures tonight. The Championship is a favourite of mine and I've picked out 5 games for a detailed analysis and I've got a good number of confident picks for these fixtures with a Champions League preview to follow as well. Remember, I will always post these previews in advance of the games with my final "best bets" and staking plan suggestions posted usually no later than 1 hour before kick-off. Here are my full previews for the best of the Championship action this evening and all my suggested bets. Twitter is down so I'm posting a just for fun small stakes bet here at almost 9.00PM CET. Sampdoria v Bologna is already underway but I'm taking a draw in play @9/4 as well as a draw between West Ham and Newcastle. Here's my only bet for tonight. Sorry for the late post but I'm only just home! Bo's Dour Draws
Total Staked - 0.6 Points Potential Returns - 6.72 Points Sampdoria v Bologna - draw @11/5 W Ham v Newcasstle - draw @5/2 SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 13TH - BO BRINGS OUT THE CRYSTAL BALL TO DELIVER A NEAR PERFECT DAY OF WINNERS!14/9/2015
It was another terrific day of winners for Bobookies with 18.8 points of profit delivered from 4 out of 5 winning bets on a near flawless day where 13 out of 14 suggested bets won! In my main double of the day, Palermo left it late to get their second in a 2.2 draw with Carpi in a fixture where I also picked out BTTS @1/1 odds and advised against backing the home side to win @4/7, instead choosing them to score 2 or more @8/11. Hoffenheim and Werder Bremen completed the 2nd leg of that bet with BTTS delivered inside 50 minutes although Bremen left it late to score 2 in injury time to bring up the BTTS and over 2.5 goals pick @4/5 while Fulham beat Blackburn 2.1 to bring up my BTTS pick there and my correct score prediction to boot. Remarkably all 4 of the Serie A fixtures finished 2.2 which was good for me as I picked BTTS in all 4 and I got another correct score in the 2.2 draw between Empoli and Napoli. Incidentally, Napoli were another odds on team that I advised against backing on a day of winners and dodged bullets. In the end, only Sunderland's failure to score against Spurs denied me a perfect 10 and the home side were pretty unlucky not to score, hitting the woodwork twice and that was my only failed selection of the afternoon in my maiin bets. Even my mental acca got 7 out of 9 and fell just 2 goals short of a 165/1 payout. Later in the evening I posted a final double to twitter which came up trumps with BTTS @Toronto and under 2.5 goals in Milan to wrap up a super day and a pretty fabulous weekend that delivered 35.8 points of profit overall! Here are the very pleasing results in full. It was back to business today with my "deadly doubles" both hitting the mark to deliver a 10 point profit on the initial stake but my "mental acca" almost stole the headlines, with only the 9th leg of 9 falling to deny me a stunning 350/1 shot winner. With 8 legs already won and the scores poised at 1.1 in Madrid after 70 minutes, it was a no-brainer to cover the bet with a draw down to 4/6 odds on. At this point I put 10 points on Barca or Atletico to win at @6/5 and with Messi scoring 8 minutes later it wasn't quite the win I was dreaming of, but it was still a fine winner and almost a stunning success. Hopefully those following my bets will have done something similar. Man City's failure to score 2 or more and Palaces to score 1 denied my treble and both were kept out by some wonderful goal-keeping and some poor refereeing decisions as well with both sides reportedly deserving penalties. My 16/1 big acca was denied by Frosinone's failure to score and I was pretty frustrated to see a goal chopped off for the home side when watching the live stats from bet365. Nothing more annoying than hearing the audio "crowd roar" to indicate a goal and then see it disallowed 30 seconds later. Still, I can't complain on a day like this with so many winners and big profit achieved. |
