After a 6 week absence, @bobreaksbookies is back with a bang and a huge bumper preview for an excellent day of action across the continent. We have London, Madrid and Rome derbies to get excited about as well as plenty of other interesting looking contests , culminating in Milan's visit to Naples. So, with no further fanfare, here are my previews for the best of the action from England, Germany, Italy and Spain. Premier League
12:30 Arsenal vs Tottenham - Prediction 1.1 Best Bets - BTTS @8/15, Draw @12/5 Key Facts *Each of the last 3 meetings at the Emirates between these two sides finished in a 1.1 draw * 6 of the last 7 meetings have also seen BTTS * Spurs have failed to win their last 7 away trips to Arsenal with only 1 win in the last 24 years (2010) * Arsenal have won 13 of their 15 home PL fixtures in 2017 including each of the last 10 * Spurs have scored a remarkable 25 goals in their last 7 away PL fixtures although they did draw a blank in their most recent away PL fixture (1.0 loss at Man Utd) Team News Arsenal * Danny Welbeck, Alex Iwobi and Shkodran Mustafi face late fitness tests, while Olivier Giroud has been ruled out after picking up a thigh injury for France. * Laurent Koscielny is a doubt, while Per Mertesacker and Rob Holding are also available having overcome illness and injury respectively. Tottenham * Victor Wanyama and Toby Alderweireld are both ruled out while Harry Winks, Hugo Lloris, Dele Alli and Harry Kane have all returned to training having missed midweek international fixtures Final Verdict Spurs surely have their best chance in many a year to win at Arsenal but the Gunners have a good record against their North London rivals as well as being very strong at home so goals look pretty likely here with Spurs so dangerous on the road as well. I fancy both to score @8/15 and a share of the spoils for a 4th successive season at the Emirates. 15:00 Leicester vs Manchester City - Prediction 1.3 Best Bets - Over 2.5 and yes @1/1, City to win and BTTS @6/4 Key Facts * Leicester have scored in each of their last 12 home PL fixtures * City have kept only 2 clean sheets in their last 7 fixtures in all competitions (at home to Burnley and Wolves) * Man City have scored at least 3 goals in 7 of their last 8 PL fixtures * There have been over 2.5 goals scored in 8 of Man City's last 10 away PL fixtures with BTTS in 5 of those 10 also * 6 of the last 9 meetings between these two sides has seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals scored including each of their 3 most recent contests * 30 goals were scored in those 9 fixtures (16 for city, 14 for Leicester) Final Verdict It's hard to see anyone stopping City at the moment and they should collect another 3 points here but the hosts have a good recent record against the league leaders and they do have the ability to score, having done so in their last 12 home league fixtures. With City missing the suspended Otamendi and perma-injured Vinnie Kompany, BTTS and over 2.5 goals @1/1 has a decent chance with City conceding in 5 of their last 7 fixtures in all competitions as well. Still, the away win is more than likely with City so rampant in front of goal but it might not be quite as easy as the bookies expect with City awfully short at just 3/10 odds on. Championship 16.00 Hull vs Ipswich - Prediction 1.2 Best Bets - BTTS @ 8/13, BTTS and over 2.5 goals @1/1 Key Facts * Hull have seen BTTS in 7 of their last 8 home league fixtures. 6 of those games also went over 2.5 goals * Hull have seen BTTS in 9 of their 10 most recent league fixtures * Hull have kept only 2 clean sheets in their last 11 home league fixtures * Hull have only won 2 of their last 11 league fixtures * Hull have lost their last 3 league fixtures, conceding 10 goals in the process * Ipswich have seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals scored in 6 of their 7 away league fixtures this season * In fact, Ipswich have kept only 1 clean sheet in their last 24 away fixtures, in a run dating back to October 2016 * Ipswich have lost 8 and won 4 of their last 12 away league fixtures * Hull have won 6 of their last 7 matches against Ipswich in all competitions. * 4 of the last 6 meetings between these two sides saw BTTS and over 2.5 goals scored Final Verdict - Goals and a winner likely Goals have every chance here with both sides scoring and leaking plenty this season and while Ipswich are in the better form, I won't be picking a winner but BTTS looks good @8/13 in a fixture that should produce a winner Ipswich not drawing any of their last 22 league fixtures and Hull drawing only 4 of their last 22. 16:00 Fulham vs Derby - Prediction 1.1 Best Bets - BTTS @8/13, Draw @12/5 Key Facts * Fulham have seen BTTS in 16 of their last 18 home league fixtures * Fulham have drawn 9 of their last 15 home league fixtures while they have won only 1 of their last 10 at Craven Cottage * Derby have seen BTTS in 9 of their last 10 away league fixtures * Derby have drawn 4 of their last 9 away league fixtures * Derby have won their last 2 away league fixture, however, they had only won 2 of the previous 15 * Each of the last 3 meetings between these two sides saw BTTS * 3 of the last 4 meetings between these two sides at Fulham saw BTTS while the last 2 meetings finished with score draws. Final Verdict A 1.1 draw is the call here although Derby may have enough about them to edge to the victory but BTTS seems pretty likely considering both sides prominence in that market this season. Bundesliga 14:30 Bayer Leverkusen vs RasenBallsport Leipzig - Prediction 2.2 Best Bets - BTTS and over 2.5 goals @4/5 Key Facts * Leverkusen have seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals in 5 of their last 7 home league fixtures * Leverkusen have seen BTTS in a whopping 14 of their last 16 league fixtures. 11 of those 14 also went over 2.5 goals * Leverkusen have scored 2 goals or more in each of their last 6 home league fixtures. * Leverkusen have lost only 1 of their last 10 home league fixtures, with 6 draws and 3 wins in that period * Leverkusen are unbeaten in their 6 most recent league fixtures (3 wins and 3 draws) * RBL have won 5 of their last 6 league fixtures * RBL have lost 3 of 6 away league fixtures this season, failing to score in all 3 defeats * RBL have seen BTTS in 6 of their last 8 fixtures in all competitions * RBL have seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals scored in 4 of their last 6 league fixtures * RBL won 3.2 in last seasons corresponding fixture in the Bay Arena, the first meeting between these two sides ever. RBL also won the reverse fixture 1.0 Final Verdict Leverkusen have been a reliable source of goals for bobreaksbookies and I expect that theme to continue here with the visit of the dangerous RBL who will fancy their chances of a 3rd straight win over the inconsistent Bayer. I'm banking on goals here although RBL have struggled at times on the road, but they seem to be finding their best form again and with Leverkusen usually so charitable defensively, I fully expect BTTS and this fixture to go over 2.5 goals once more and those are my two selections for this tasty Bundesliga tie. 14:30 Wolfsburg vs Freiburg - Prediction 2.0 Best Bets - Wolfsburg to score 2 or more @4/6 Key Fact * Freiburg have conceded 4 goals or more in 5 out of 8 away league fixtures so far this season, and 3 or more in 7 of those 8 matches, with a whopping 27 goals leaked in those 8 games. Final Verdict That one key fact alone gives me confidence that Wolfsburg will manage at least 2 at a decent price of 4/6 odds with Freiburg rotten on the road. While Freiburg have faced some of the divisions leading lights during their horrendous run, they have also leaked 3 at Darmstadt and Stuttgart so I fully expect Wolfsburg to score at least 2 with the home side netting 3 in their most recent home league fixture against Hertha. While a home win also seems likely, Wolfsburg are in the midst of a crazy run of draws which has seen them draw 6 of their last 7 at home as well as 8 of their 9 most recent league fixtures including each of the last 7! Still, I fancy them to get 2 or more goals here which you would expect to be enough to get the job done against an opponent that is missing a number of key players, including their most dangerous forward, Florian Niederlechner. 14:30 Hoffenheim vs Eintracht Frankfurt - Prediction 1.1 Best Bets - BTTS @4/7, Draw @12/5 Key Facts * Hoffenheim have scored in 24 of their last 25 home league fixtures * Hoffenheim have seen BTTS in 3 of their last 4 home league fixtures * Frankfurt have scored in their last 5 away league fixtures, while they have lost only 1 of 6 away league fixtures so far this season, as well as winning 3 of their last 5 on the road * Frankfurt have scored in their last 9 league fixtures, while they have scored 2 or more in 4 of their last 5 league fixtures Final Verdict Hoffenheim haven't been as strong as they were last season and a score draw seems the most likely outcome here with the visitors performing well recently and doing well on the road. BTTS is a bit short @4/7 and we will see if that price improves before kick-off but considering Hoffenheim's home record, and the recent form of Frankfurt who are vastly improved this season, a 1.1 draw is my tip here. 17:30 Hertha Berlin vs Borussia M.Gladbach - Prediction 1.1 Best bets - BTTS @4/6, Draw @12/5 Key Facts * MGB have seen BTTS in 8 of their last 9 away league fixtures * Hertha have seen BTTS in 6 of their last 8 home league fixtures * Hertha kept only 1 clean sheet in those 8 fixtures * MGB have scored 2 goals or more in 7 of their last 9 away league fixtures * MGB scored 19 goals in those 9 fixtures Final Verdict - Another score draw on the cards Serie A 17:00 Roma vs Lazio - Prediction 2.2 Best Bets - BTTS @1/2, BTTS and over 2.5 goals @4/5 Key Facts * 5 of the last 8 Roman derbies, since 2015, have seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals scored including 2 of the last 3 * Only 3 of the last 23 derbies have finished as a draw * Roma have won 5 of the last 7 derbies although Lazio won 3.1 in their most recent contest in April * Since that loss, Roma have won 13 of their last 15 Serie A fixtures, including each of the last 4 * Roma have kept a clean sheet in 4 of their last 5 league wins * Lazio are in superb form, winning 13 of their last 14 in all competitions * Lazio have won 9 of their last 10 league fixtures * Lazio have scored 2 goals or more in a remarkable 13 of their last 15 away league fixtures * Lazio have scored 17 goals in their 6 away league fixtures so far this season * Since drawing a blank on the opening day of the season, Lazio have scored 31 goals in their subsequent 10 league fixtures. Final Verdict 19:45 Napoli vs AC Milan - Prediction 3.1 Best Bets - Napoli to score 2 or more @1/2, BTTS and over 2.5 goals @21/20, Napoli -1 to win @6/5 Key Facts * Napoli have scored 3 goals or more in 8 of their last 10 home league fixtures * Napoli won all of those 8 games by 2 goals or more * Napoli have won 15 of their last 17 league fixtures * Napoli have won and seen BTTS in 4 of their last 6 home league wins * Napoli have seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals scored in 7 of their 11 most recent fixtures (in all competitions) * Milan have lost 3 of their last 5 away league games, conceding 4 at Lazio, 2 at Sampdoria and 3 at Inter * Milan have seen BTTS in 9 of their last 12 away league fixtures, including games at Juventus, Lazio and Inter (Twice) * Milan have lost by more than 1 goal in 4 of their last 5 league defeats * Napoli have won 6 of their last 8 meetings with Milan, scoring 2 goals or more in all 6 victories * 3 of those 6 Napoli wins, also saw BTTS including their 2 most recent contests * Napoli won 4.2 in last season's corresponding fixture Final Verdict Recent form, and history suggest a home win, by more than 1 goal, with BTTS so there are plenty of selections to try here. Napoli should be too strong for Milan oncemore and I expect them to score at least 2 in an entertaining live Saturday evening contest. Milan do have the tools to score, but their defence is still leaking goals and against the form team in Italy, I expect them to struggle oncemore. 3.1 is the call. La Liga 19:45 Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid - Prediction 1.1 Best Bets - Draw @ 12/5 Saturday Best Bets BTTS Roma vs Lazio - BTTS @1/2 - NB Fulham vs Derby - BTTS @8/13 Arsenal vs Tottenham - BTTS @8/15 Hull vs Ipswich - BTTS @ 8/13 Hoffenheim vs Eintracht Frankfurt -BTTS @4/7 Hertha Berlin vs Borussia M.Gladbach - BTTS @4/6 BTTS and over 2.5 Goals Bayer Leverkusen vs RasenBallsport Leipzig - BTTS and over 2.5 goals @4/5 - NAP Roma vs Lazio - BTTS and over 2.5 goals @4/5 Napoli vs Milan - BTTS and over 2.5 goals @21/20 Leicester vs Manchester City - Over 2.5 and yes @1/1 2 Goals or more Wolfsburg vs Freiburg - Wolfsburg to score 2 or more @4/6 Napoli vs AC Milan -Napoli to score 2 or more @1/2 Handicap Napoli vs AC Milan - Napoli -1 to win @6/5 Draws Arsenal vs Tottenham Fulham vs Derby Hoffenheim vs Eintracht Frankfurt Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid Hertha Berlin vs Borussia M.Gladbach Win and BTTS Napoli Man City Comments are closed.
